  1. Hey i have a 2004 F350 and it tows like magic although i have been considering buying a 00-04 Excursion 4x4 but i want to be able to tow the same...

I would like to do bags( so i can make it lower if i want :) ...) if there is such a thing that will be strong enough to pull around 12,000 pounds and id say 1,500 Tongue weight.

I have also herd of people combining things like, putting sway bars, straight line bars and upgraded shocks to accomplish more lbs in towing.

Last thing i would like to do a nice set of rims, what would be the point that a rim would be to big for towing.

    Thanks, Austin

  2. Maybe I'm not thinking straight but what would a cap have anything to do with your components? are you sure you didn't disconnect them on accident? stupid question but shit happens.

Another stupid question, did you check your front to back fade, Maybe while you were working on it you switched them on accident, I know... a lot of "what ifs" but its the stupid things that always get me...

  3. everything everyone has ever once said about them, we tested... we tried to blow the amp, couldnt... we tried to fry the tinsels, couldnt...

its all on how people set the amp up... if you set it with a oscope you should be good

if you got the time maybe could you explain oscope, I'm a noob of the larger amounts of power..

and if i do go with stetsom I'll be contacting you to make sure i set the shit up right. you seem very knowledgeable on that amp.

  4. any PROOF? if not, you shouldnt post rumors....

i got a stetsom 7k2d daily for the last 6 months, and my tinsels look as new as the day i got them... and if any of you seen the vids from slamology, or seen the thread, you know we tried to blow my subs with the amp and we tried to fry the tinsels

the stetsoms are strong amps, when gained with a O scope, when you get a retard in there who doesnt know what they are doing... well... you get fires..

Very well done sir. :) you have a lot of confidence in Stesom, if i go with them i would hope i would have the same.

  5. My friend was running four ssd 15's on a stetsom 4k2d and one of them caught on fire. I was with him when it happened. There could be other reasons why it caught fire but idk...

On db-r.com you can get refurb sundown 4500d's for 1000.00 each or you can go with two audioque 3500's for 1500.00 shipped they are rated at 4200rms at 14.4

Haha thats no good i would'nt want that, not that it was the amp but its another thing for me to think about ;)

  6. agree. Even one saz4500 will be good enough hope you have the electrical to back it up

I'm fairly new to the High Wattage Amps and audio Stuffs but there's only one way to learn, and I'm doing my best but even if i had (2) saz4500 or even (1) would 1 270 Amp Alt a 16V Batt under hood and 1 more Batt in back for the sub..? just curios

I know theres many differrent ways to set it up but theres few that are correct im just trying to get an idea would 2 batts total and 1 270amp alt be enough...

  7. Fully loaded won't they take like 3-3.5k all day? So like wut 7k rms? ..stetsom has good amps

Edit: Crescendo is on backorder I thought?

    http://www.stetsom.com.br/eng/DetalhesProduto.aspx?c=8100&cat=172

Ya ill be setting them at 1 ohm, and they have a spl or daily use when you put in your info for purchasing the subs. but its like 2000rms minimum but ya crescendo seemed reasonable i just did not know if it was a reliable brand.

and i would run 2 amps, what ever would be the worst for my ears. :)

  8. I'm new to the forum here and I'm trying to get the hang of the lay out, I've searched for a while now looking for answers but no results...
