but i dont want to cut a hole or holes in my rear deck or seats that why i ask if i could do build a ported box without cutting any holes

I have a 1988 Chevy Caprice Classic and want to build a box for two 15" SMD Subs. But I'm stuck on this one topic Ive heard that I cannot build a ported box in a sealed trunk unless I cut a hole somewhere that lets the air flow to the cab. I understand that ported boxes are made for SUV's and that the air coming for the port has to flow threw the cab, but is it possible to build a ported box in my sealed trunk without cutting a huge hole in my seats or rear deck? the reason i ask is because i do not want to cut a hole or holes in my rear deck or seats
