  1. we never tried that, we plan on working on it again tomorrow but for now its cold as hell and dark so we're done for the night but still trying to get to the bottom of the problem
  2. Protect mode doesnt mean the amp stopped working just saved itself from screwing up. we have wired them all kinda of ways and no matter what way its wired the amp still goes into protect mode and then resets and comes back on
  3. I have a Infinity Kappa One Mono subwoofer amplifier — 800 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms and 2 Infinity Kappa 120.9W Kappa Series 2 Ohm or 4 Ohm Subwoofer Power Handling: Peak: 1400 watts RMS: 350 watts Please help me wire these the right way
  4. The subs have a select switch on the for 2 or 4 and they both are on 2 and thy are wired straight from the positive and negative terminals on the box on each side and wired pos to neg on amp hope that makes sense
  5. alright so my friend has a 1996 dodge stratus 4 cylinder/2.4 lit 14 volts of altinater running 2 12inch infinnity kappa ssi 1400w max 2 or 4 ohm select kappa one 1600w max mono block 6gwd power wire 17 ft 6gwd ground wire 2 1/2 feet 80 amp inline fuse 16gwd from amp to subs 1 1/2 feet pioneer deh-p7200hd deck soooo the problem is that when we start to tune the amp it goes into protect mode everytime it starts to actually hit hard. We've tried all kinds of things to figure out what the problem is and we can't figure it out, can someone help us? or give us advice on things to try? It doesn't matter if we've tried it or not we would love to hear what you have to say so help us out please?
