  1. Having already soldered the pico fuse, that can't be my problem. Grounding the RCAs would do nothing for me.
  2. Like i said, i put ring terminals on all the grounds and bolted them down. The gain on the hifonics is not very high at all. Obviously if i turn the gain down, you won't hear it because you won't hear anything at all. And like i said before, there was no buzzing until I added the hifonics amp.
  3. The grounds couldn't have been that bad, because i put ring terminals on and bolted all of them. There is still buzzing. And i already soldered my pico fuse on my pioneer, which did absolutely nothing.
  4. Oh yea i forgot to add i have alternator whine as well.
  5. So in my car i currently have the following: Fi SSD 18" w/ 9cuft box @ 32hz Old 380w soundstream amp powering it (temporarily) Alpine SPR-13S components Hifonics HFi100.2 for the alpines Pioneer DEH-2100IB I have a set of 8 gauge wire running to the soundstream amp as its only 15 amps. The Hifonics has 4 gauge wire. I recently got the hifonics for my front stage. Before i installed it there was no buzzing in my speakers. Once i installed it I had a buzzing problem. So, ok, ground issue. I redid all my grounds. Grounds coming off battery: First ground: Second ground: First amps ground: Second amps ground & head unit ground (no metal behind head unit to ground to): Didn't fix the buzzing problem. So I rerouted my RCAs which were on the same side as the power wiring, thinking that must be the problem. Still didn't fix it. I was told about the pico fuse problem with Pioneer decks, so i went about soldering the board today, put it back in and still had buzzing. I'm not sure what else to do besides buy a ground loop isolator, but I heard those can degrade sound quality, or half the volume etc. I really want to fix the problem without using one, but I'm lost on this. Anyone have any idea how I can fix this ?
