  1. well think about it 4 8s would disperse heat more equal to each sub than just 2 and would look way better doing it since the cones on both models pretty much look the same now and its more cone area someone correct me if im wrong about dispersing the heat and maybe even be able to take a bit more power

i would personally think that the 4 e8's would take more power..it's the same size coils, even if the sa8's are a little better thermally i'd think (with my experience of the e seies) that the e8's could take another 1200 if they had to, i have mine on a 1600, 2 of them.

  2. I got in my 2 E-12's today from FedEx and went ahead and hooked them up. They're in a 4 cube box tuned to 32 hz with an apsm1500 @1 ohm. They have far beyond exceeded what I expected. They have an amazing sound to them and have a really strong lowend. They don't feel or look like a 400 Rms sub. Couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I'll have some vids tomorrow because its almost already dark.

  3. dude i've been tryin to figure life out lol, i went to uk for a year, and took this semester off because i thought i wanted to sell cars (typical dumbass me) so i'm going back and getting back into audio, i actually think i might go into sound engineering. But has your number changed? I've got a guy from with an 859 area code asking me to build a box for him, and its from craigslist, but somehow he knew i was me on here. Part of the reason i got outta the whole car audio scene to begin with was because when i was at school i literally had nowhere i could work on my car or anything, but now i'm back at home and just itchin to build stuff.

  4. Those are gonna hit bro. I hear nothing but great things about the E series. You'll love them. Stick em' in a box with 2 cubes net volume per sub. So 4 cubes net total. As for tuning, do you want to get low or what? Also the port area per cube should be 14-16.

yeah i'm trying to get low, it's been a while(about a year) since i've had any bass in my car, last setup i had were 2 lvl 4 15's. But 2 cubes per sub even when they're getting somewhat overpowered?

  5. So I was just scrolling through woofersetc and ended up impulse buying 2 sundown e-12's. I was really just looking for something at a cheap price and since i'd never tried sundown i thought i may as well now. Now I did this without reading any reviews or anything haha. But i assume that these should be some pretty good subs, only thing i'm not liking now that i look at the specs is the 12mm xmax.. But i'm kind of curious as to the box specs that i should stick with to get the most out of these, daily, and i'm planning on using around 1200 watts.

  6. Can you double the rms and budget? Mayhem 18 sitting here hardly even used, I bought it new.

Haha you know I would if this was my build but this is for my friend..he's already told me he doesn't want to go over 275, and his amp is 1.5k rms

  7. Hey guys I'm looking for an 18" sub. The sub can be anywhere from 600-1200 Rms and I'm looking at pretty much all brands but I favor dc and FI/aa. Budget is around $250 give or take 15 or 20.

I'm in 40509 zip code so If you're going to give me a price check how much shipping will be before giving me a price please, thanks.

  8. You get attached way too easily. Make a decision, get your life in order, and bone these bitches. You need to stop "liking" them so much until you got your shit straight. At least you have luck with finding work. Some people can't even find a job.

Amen! Every post you make is about some random slut that smiles at you and you start to like..and the fact that you make so many posts like this tells me that it's not exactly workin out for you.
