shit. so sorry for the delay, i havent been on here in a while. heres the update: well today i finally upgraded my amp and install. the 1100 just wasnt cutting it anymore. after exactly a year after it was installed, my subs were still super stiff. i kept the level 4's, MS-8, and the memphis 75.4, but i switched the memphis 1100 for a mmats 3000.1D, a third battery, ported through the ski pass/armrest thingy, and some custom plexiglassing/lighting in my trunk. it is sooooooo much louder!! ill take some night shots of it now and get some more tomorrow as well as a quick video. AND I WONT FORGET THIS TIME

well the thing is i already have one of the same amp. I want to add more power so i was going to get a second amp of the one i already have (check my sig). i would rather have 2 matching amps than trying to sell mine for a bigger one (for example, the 16-mc1.2500)

thanks. do you think i should buy the warranty? i just read on memphis's website that they do not support warranties sold over the internet blah blah blah. so i guess its a store warranty??? should i still order it or no? ($45/yr or $67/2 yrs)

I was just wondering if buying an amp refurbished by the manufacturer is a good or bad idea, specifically a Memphis 16-mc1.1100. There are the options of adding a warranty: $44.99 for 1 year or $67.99 for 2 years. Have you had any bad experiences with refurbed amps from memphis or any other company?

tomorrows my last day of school so i will have more pics and vids up this weekend. clipping is where the gain is turned up too much and starts producing dirty signal as long as you amp isint clipping there is nothing wrong with your set up and the amp will be fine Also just FYI you cant sell anything here till i think you have atleast 150 posts a 2500 would be a nice match ok thanks. i didnt know that

ok. so ive had my system for about 5 months now and i love it. but i heard that by underpowering subs, the amp is pushing out all the power and its not good for the amp. also what is clipping? if anyone wants to buy my memphis 1100 mono amp let me know. i want to upgrade to the 2500 soon
