lol! I have had many L7's & L5's. Used them and abused them, still don't like them any more than their round cousins. I will add that the 12's in my avitar were pushed by a Infinity 1600.1 referance and they did a 141db on the term lab. how accurate is the power handling that they claim on the website?

why do you guys say no kickers?

i would suggest a kicker solox 12 or a set or l7's if there would be enough trunk space for them.if you do a sealed box you should have space for the two l7's because you would need a maximum of 4 cubes for a sealed box. and i think its about 6.5 cubes for a ported box.

i dont live anywhere really cold but i have heard if your system is really cold that the rubber surrounds may be stiff mainly stuff to that nature

allright i havent heard of any of many of these .

i dont know what he would be looking for but i would guess a couple of hundred. its not really for spl its more for just general road noise and the engine noise. and i know the seals on the doors needed to be replaced so thats why i was thinking he might do the doors too

out of dynamat lizard skin and audio wrap what would you guys best recommend to use. my father was thinking of pulling up the carpet and taking out the seats to do the floor and firewall but i am not sure if he wants to do the doors or not. so any estimates of how much it would cost for dynamat?

well if it wasnt going on a quad id spend more. but i dont wanna spend more than 100$ on an amp incase it breaks from vibraton or bumps.or the worst case that i roll my quad Ah that does change things. But then again, a low quality amp will be more susceptible to vibrations and bumps causing damage internally. But, i'd honestly go with a Dual amp from walmart...the Xps i believe, is 400 watt,well not really but thats what they claim, and it's cheap. like 80 bucks i think... And i'd STILL take a walmart pos amp over Boss. well ive owned other cheap brands like dual and i had a 300 watt poweracustik i bought for like 30$ and ive never had problems with them. this is the first doa amp ive ever gotten

well i guess i might as well ask while im here what are some good 400 watt bridgeable amps that cost less than 100 dollars

my friends have had boss amps in the past and they worked pretty good. and i need a cheap amp so i figured it was better than getting a vr3 or a jensen. so i guess now i gotta get a dual when i get a refund. unless theres a good bridgeable amp i can get for like 50 or 60

its a brand new boss chaos wired 400watt. id like to know how they thought i wouldn't know the amp was doa

nope and no new amp either because they dont have any more in stock.

my new amp just came in today. and its doa. its so dead that the protect light will only flicker for a millisecond and then nothing at all. it was supposed to be a brand new amp but it smells of burnt electrical and there's a hole melted through the bottom. thank god for refunds

that's probably an walmart amp lol. then again my boss audio isnt exactly a good amp either.

Check ebay, amazon, other forums via google search, etc, see what they're going for.....at the end of the day your deck is worth what somebody will pay you for it. I recently put my P880 up for sale on DIYMA and got hated on hard for asking $275 for it since it's got a blown pico fuse....they told me my deck was worth $150 at most and that I'd never sell it for more than that.......it took a week or two to get rid of it but I sold it for $10 less than my asking price on DIYMA. They made me do the Harlem shake on the haters i changed my mind. im gonna actually keep it and use it seeing as i was able to sell a few things to get the 30$ for the aux cord

maybie alpine was trying to save money and reused designs lol. if mine had an aux in i wouldnt be able to complain
