  1. someone said that i should be able to get the fuse holder replaced. does anyone know if this is possible
  2. i bought the amp today. it worked fine at the pawn shop but when i started playing a sub one of the fuses blew. so i opened it up and the fuse holder was broken and there was soot around it. so is this fixable
  3. allright sounds good. how can you tell the "big belle" and the "baby belle" apart. just the output or are there some cosmetic features too? That and the size of the amp. The "big belle" going to be bigger. But I am pretty sure that the one you are talking about is the "baby belle" don't let the name fool you though it's still a good amp. If you had the model number I could tell you which one you have for sure. ill' see if i can get the model number. either way i think its a buy for me.i always wanted something a little old school. and i wouldnt have to worry about finding two amps
  4. allright sounds good. how can you tell the "big belle" and the "baby belle" apart. just the output or are there some cosmetic features too?
  5. so this would probably be a decent amp to run one 12 and my highs?
  6. im looking at a memphas belle 6 channel amp. its a 600 watt amp. would you guys recommend it. here is one similar to it http://speakeramp.or...t-car-amplifier http://www.canuckaud...mage_id=2011301
  7. he takes them and makes cartoons with em. you would never think he would remember them ( no not all of the ideas in here are mine)
  8. thanks for the info sir. how difficult was it to get to the alt and the engine ground. it looked fairly cramped but i think if i remove my battery getting to the alt would be a little bit easier
  9. yeah that knu blows just about everything else out of the water. the db link is somewhat close though. i think it should work good enough for the little bit ll be running in the jeep. whenever their wire comes back in stock ill pick some up for the big three. this will probobly sound stupid but im kinda going with the db link kit because it comes with the distribution blocks too.since ill only be running a small sub amp and a highs amp later on. thanks for the tip about adding a foot extra on each connection.
  10. i found this kit. seems pretty good. though one of the comments said it was more like 2/0 gauge and he used some p/a amps http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000OQ2ZBC/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER
  11. yeah i understand that. like i said the kca is out of stock and i'm not sure if its out temporarily or if is being replaced or what .
  12. Well then wait or go somewhere else. Most of your posts are just fantasies anyways so I would assume this one will never happen as well...... i mean all of their knu is out of stock. and i cant see paying 3 almost 4 dollars for the kolossus wire. this one is happening i got the money i just dont wanna put top of the line wire in a jeep ill only be using a few years and for a very small system EDIT: i meant kca
  13. well i was looking at the kca in 0 gauge but its out of stock
  14. i think maybe a couple more feet of ground and your good. those I6's are really crowed so youll have a lot of wire management to do. allright so 5 feet of power and probobly 13 feet for ground?. and yeah i saw under the hood its pretty damn stuffed
  15. hmm with shipping like that i might order my big three at the same time. how much 0 gauge do you think i would need for a jeep cherokee. like 10 feet of ground and 4 feet of power?
  16. Why not get real OFC 1/0, instead of tinned, or CCA and cheaping out on one of the most important parts of your build... Save a little more money, and buy some good shit... i figured i could get away with something smaller for now since i wont be going over a 400 watt dual amp that probably only does 125watts for a while. ill probobly go with the knu though since its close to the price of the lanzar
  17. just wondering if this would be a good amp kit for 1000 watts. i know its not true 0 gauge but i figure it has to be close to at least 4 gauge plus it has anl fuses with it http://www.amazon.com/Lanzar-Contaq-5000-Gauge-Power/dp/B000XDLN96/ref=pd_sim_sbs__5
  18. its got one or two dents but atleast the paint is in great condition. its not like the others i looked at where the clear coat was completely gone
  19. yeah im looking at doing that in the future, at least in the back. i don't want people stealing my stuff lol. yup i like the 4.0 runs good sounds great and i figure i could get any parts i need easy
  20. Mine got surprisingly good mileage on the 33's. Especially on the highway due to the lowered RPM to run highway speed. I did everything from a single 12, to 4 15's, to 2 18's in my XJ. EVERYTHING got loud. My favorite vehicle to build and daily that I've owned. i meant the mileage on the vehicle. i dont know how long its gonna last me. i got a lot of options with the motors i got. i can go anywhere from two 8's to two 18's on 1200 watts rms a piece
  21. i liked the volvo but it was too small for my tastes volvos are nice cars though. as for the jeep its got a pretty reliable 4 liter v6 in it and its got basic windows and locks so i dont have to really worry about anything except for the engine and transmission which seem pretty soild Yeh, the model you had is tiny. Mine (still own it, my dad drives it) is huge. Except for the back seats. I'm 6'3", and my head makes constant contact with the headliner.... Basic windows and locks? like manual? If so, my truck is the same. Gotta love the simplicity. And I think one of my friends had tranny problems with her Jeep. I'm sure it was just the owner's fault. But hey, we'll see, eh? hah @GamingUnited503 yeah manual windows and locks auto tranny though. i find it weird that theres speakers in the ceiling though but it should be interesting. @727Designs. im gonna keep it like a sleeper because of the mileage on it. and im thinking of 2 15's or something like that. @Rich859. thats a pretty good deal. im hoping to get about 4 years or more out of mine.
