my stock battery is much bigger than normal car batteries but i have room for another battery under the hood

my problem with the big 3 is how the hell will i get my wire to the alt when the battery is in the back?

I have 2 12 inch Sundown's and a AQ1200D which says it produces 1200 rms at 14.4v but my battery is a 12v battery, will a cheap 2nd battery do the trick or not? Alright, so here the scoop. I have 2 SA 12's hooked up to a AQ1200D at 1 ohm in a ported box tuned between 36 - 37hz. Atm the subwoofer level is at zero on the hu along with all the other bass levels. On the amp the bass boost is at max and the remote is at max. The Gain is set so it wont clip as long as i don't turn the hu over volume lvl 25. It shakes my car but im wanting a little more. What is better bass boost or subwoofer level. I have a Kenwood KDCmp345u. Thanks!

it doesnt clip unless i go over 25 volume but so subwoofer level will send more voltage or tell the amp to give more voltage to the subs which will make it a lot louder correct?

ok... well tell me if this is wrong. on one sub i wired both -'s together and i wired the +'s together and also the same with the other sub. Then after i took the -'s from both subs and wired them all together and did the same with the +'s. then on the amp i have 2 -'s and 2 +'s does it matter which i put them in as long as the - goes to the - and + goes to the +? thanks

well if i turn the bass boost down it sounds like nothing and i have a kenwood kdcmp345u

Got the same problem and when i turn my volume past 25 the clipping light comes on. the gain and stuff is set pretty low and lpf is at 80 bass boost is all the way on both knobs but the hu is 0 on everything hooked up to two SA 12's 600rms each any ideas how to get them louder?

the peel and seal is in my spare wheel holder why would it ever smell and peel and seal hasnt smelt like anything

wires are good just that their is 2 positives and 2 negatives on the amp do we just wire them in parallel? so one sub has both is positive going to 1 positive and negatives going to 1 negative?

amp turns on rca work 12volts are going to the amp just need help with the wiring
