im thinkin about getting dd1 but later when I get new sub and amp and 2 xp3000 or 2 in the back.. I never put it all the way up and I dont drop my voltage under 13.5
-
thanks man.. I see it much better now..
but I will see when the radio is clipping on 3sixty (RCAs) when I set up the levels... or its sth else ?
And yes I have the CD with software but it dont work..
-
anybody knows where I can download software for 3sixty for windows 7 64bit ?
-
ok.. from this what I understood, after I make all connections (except the bass knob) I supposed to put all gain of the amps down..
and I need to find out on which lvl my HU is clipin.. - I dont know how to do that.. I think I will just go to 3/4 volume up so to about 27 (35 max)
than I adjust the RCA's input levels to find out when its cliping...
and than I tune it in my MacBook..
the question is when I supposed to put all gains of the amp up? and how I should tune the amps? I mean I just tune it to make it sound "good" and than play with the 3sixty?

Wires aint clean at all.. I will work on it when I get new enclosure
-
Hello everybody,
so recently I installed 3sixty in my car.. I got it about 2 years ago but my wires were bad and I had to take it out cause I couldnt stay the alternator sound..
I had changed all wires RCAs, 0gauge, big3 and I dont hear the alt sound at all..
My current system
Alpine cda117
Rockford t600.4
TypeR 2way front , 6x9 rear
sony xplode 900watt(for now)
Rockford p2s 12"
Stinger Capacitor (grounded to the frame)
XS3400 under the hood
Singer 180 amp on the way (should be here nxt week week)
Big3 - grounding to the frame and engine block
2 runs of Knukonceptz 0 gauge (one positive one neg)
Knukonceptz RCAs
The problem which I have is that Im not sure how to set up the 3sixty correctly.. I know that I should follow the manual but english is my second language and its very confusing for me..
First thing is that on my HU I have sub lvl output.. should I leave it all the way up ?
Second Im not sure how to adjust the RCAs levels on the 3sixty and amps gains..
3sixy has output for sub and center channel right under it.. should I run just one rca to the sub amp ? and dont connect to center one?
Can anybody explain how to set it up step by step?

Just get one set of components on each channel at 4 ohms. Should be plenty loud.
Just get one set of components on each channel at 4 ohms. Should be plenty loud.
u mean 4 sets total ?
-
WHY are you wanting to run such high power on door speakers is my question. 4 ohms is more efficient actually. 2 ohms is more power, but more heat and less efficient.
Because I tough that I get louder if I run it on 2 ohms..
-
I dont know why my topic was locked previous time.. the ratings of the amp are 4x150 rms at 4 omhs and 4x300 on 2 ohms.. so I believe that the amp would be more effective on 2ohms..
Im fresh in car audio.. + English is my second language..
I have done some job to my car (big 3 , knukonceptz wires, d3400 under the hood)
-
what 2 sets of speakers I can run at 2 ohms on t600.4 ?
that I get 4x300 rms ?
-
lvl5 15 and 12
3.5k
shipped 08648

Can I use the positive terminal like that ? that I fit 2 runs of 0 gauge (one from alt and the other one to the other battery) and can I just cut the stock terminal
and put the "car running wire" in this?
-
Ok... so which way I supposed to put the 0 gauge from the front?
-
So I should put it about 2 feets from battery in the front.. than another one after battery in the back and another one from cap to amp?
-

-
so finally I got some money to work on my electrical system..
I have done some plan and I count that I need :
7 Ring terminals
1 Distribution block
Positive and negative battery terminals - please tell me which one that i can put the 0 gauge and the "car running wire"
and Idk how much 0 gauge I supposed to buy.. and which way to it to the back? I mean under the car or sth? cause I dont think that It will fit under the plastics
on the sides..
how many Fuses I should put and where?
For now im running Xplode amp but I will buy another kinetic to my trunk before I put the sundown in...
I think I just gonna put another wire to my alt, I mean I will leave the stock one..

And the worst thing is that this MF are seating on forums like that and keep watching all the builds and YouTube videos and
just looking for our cars around their neighborhood... and sometimes even making "good friends" with us ..
On the other hand its not good to drive with loud music around our home and show up the system to everybody around (like somebody wrote already)
sorry to hear that Man !

i had same problem ... but I did stupid mistake and the remote wire was touching the power wire ....
-
i guess they do ask for a similer box size id do 3.5 cubic ft tuned to 36hz or something measure your trunk whats the max height width and depth and the new subs you want are 800 rms i dont see where you got 3200w from that might be max for two but you dont wanna use that number.
yea i saw that they r 800rms.. I will figure out the exact dimensions of the trunk and than play with the calculator..
-
A sheet of MDF is only like $35 bucks. So building multiple boxes shouldn't be an issue.
I use the RE box calculator on simple boxes. It's easy to understand and tells you all the cuts. (The red text are the numbers you can change. Just mess with different sizes. Port widths, and port lengths until you get the tunign you want.)

40 hertz is also a little high for my taste. I would do 35.
true.. this calculator seems easier than this pined on the forum..
I will try to work on the box during the weekend ..
thanks
