  1. Yes sorry. Like i said Im DUMB lol

I know you are looking for a prefabricated box to just pop in, and my assumption is you have pretty limited knowledge on systems, so heres what I recommend man. Just purchase the subs and when you want to have them installed, ask your installer to also build you a box, they should know enough to get the dimensions correct and I think the type R's would sound a bit better in a ported box.

  2. alpine just run a switch connect the hand brake and foot brake of the headunit to the switch than off the switch to both the foot/hand brake wires and how mine works is when u turn the radio on u hold down the brake pedal and push the switch up than down than release the brake and bang ur done u dont need to buy an by-pass kit

On the w205 I would rather not have to stop, pump brake , hand brake 3 times, just to change my treble/bass ,time, etc. The kits only like 17 bucks, just going to scoop it up.

  3. Oh my bad man I guess I kind of said that wrong. I shouldn't of used the word half assed, but more of I just installed it to get the gist of the touch screen and check out how bright it was, etc. I uninstalled everything that night, I have a pretty decent understanding, I just don't understand why I couldn't program the clock or access several setting menus, and I know it was because I couldn't find how to wire the break/parking line or something along those lines. I read the manual thoroughly but just couldn't find anything that clarified how to hook up the break line. I think its the same line that regards whether you can watch DVD's while in motion or not. Just wondering if anyone knew how I would do this correctly. Thanks for your help.

  4. I hooked my indash up half ass a couple weeks back just to get the feel of it, didn't hook up the steering wheel hookup or the radio (didn't have the GMC antenna adapter) but heres a quick question. For some reason, I couldn't program the clock or get to any of the real set up menus. I think it has to do with me not wiring the brake lines or something, can someone help me out with this? thanks.
