  1. where could i get the hid projector... my stock headlight thing is like waaay to clouded up for the new lights to bother any1.. they are still bright..but i doubt they bother any1..

Honestly the only real way to do it is retrofitting which is a pain in the ass. You could just order some explorer aftermarket headlights with projectors in them but they are usually pretty low quality. I found out the hard way but shit the ebay projectors are better than nothing.

  2. personally never had hid lights..so i like them.. and i think they need to be aimed straight.. the one on the rite is like slightly off.. and well ill try to get a pik 2morrow so we could all see how they look in the day.. i havent yet seen them..lolz.. barely got them put in tonite..

I'm surprised people aren't giving you a hard time for using stock halogen projectors. The thing with HID bulbs in halogen housings is it usually causes a really bad glare and it pisses off other drivers, but its hard to tell through pictures. But looks better than halogens so nice buy.

  3. You can use clear nail polish to seal the edges.

Thank you I will keep that in mind, but unfortunately my car has been re-tinted several times since that last post almost a year ago. It never peeled btw.

  4. For sale is a pair of my old headlights. Has high beam halogens in them but would need to be retrofitted with projector to be used correctly. I have modified/resealed these by painting the housing black, but they are more watertight then when I received them off the internet. I'm selling as is, due to one of the LED's not always lighting up in the bottom strip, and to use these properly you must retrofit. For 07+ Yukon. $45.00+ shipping.

  5. Thanks guys, appreciate the comments. The projectors are glass, but still cheap projectors. I did lose light output due to me being a dumbass and not aiming, and thus the cutoff is really shitty and I will never show you pics of it. Youll have to come see me in the streets haha because no way I will show how bad I aimed the projectors. It looks decent though, if I ever do it again I know what to do and what not to do. If anyone has questions Ill be glad to help you out.

  6. omg bigfoots! i spent dumb cake on mine, like 2000+, and then sold it for 200 lol

but if it doesnt crank at all take the sparkplug out to see if its just flooded and hydrolocked, if it still wont move with no plug, yea, it may be blown

    poor little g23lh

I took apart the pull string assembly and it seems the big metal fan like thing that should spin is frozen in place, I tried to move it but it does not move by any means. Blown engine? :(

  7. I pulled out a old big foot goped I had from when I was a kid and my buddy rode it around for a good 30 minutes reliving our childhood. Anyways after 30 minutes of riding it around pretty much non stop it say for about an hour and I realized it was time to stop reminiscing so I went to crank her up to drive her to my shed and she stopped mid crank. Is the engine just flat out blown or something?

  8. MOAR.

if you still have not sealed up the projectors you should try bending the cutoff shield or adding washers to space the bowl from the lense to see what kind of color you can get. you might even get a sharper cutoff.

Dude I needed to ask you lastnight. Do the cutoffs face upwards or downwards? I have no idea and I need to know before I seal these up. Ill PM you my number TEXT me asap when you can.
