Hey everyone, Skar Audio will be out at SlamFest 2012 in Gainesville, FL Sept 29th & 30th (this upcoming weekend) and we were curious who all is going?! We have a pretty good idea of any Skar guy's coming, but post anyway, it would be great to get a head count! Anyone running Skar will get a free shirt made for the event until we run out (got plenty however). Anyone non-skar going, let us know - would be great to meet some of you guys out there. -Kevin

may i ask why is that n8? He probably mentioned it because China is a communist country and they censor everything they allow their citizens to see. I took pictures freely as well as bypassed their firewall using a VPN to get on Facebook while I was visiting. I am not sure if long term they might try to hunt you down, but it seems like they don't care too much about tourists going about their normal routine even if bypassing certain rules they enforce on normal Chinese citizens. I am sitting in Los Angeles now waiting on my return flight back to Orlando (Just got off the flight from Shanghai to LA), and I have to say I had an awesome trip and what an eye opener it was to how different the USA and China are! I think anyone who has the opportunity to visit a manufacturing haven like China should, as it operates completely different then the USA. -Kevin

you do realize you are seeing what they allow you to see. That sweatshop stuff isnt made up. people commit suicide instead of going to work. Unlike some factories here, these pictures are legitimate and the workers are treated well here. While the wages are low over in China, the conditions are not bad in the factory we associate with. The owner has to compete with other factories economically, but treats his workers very well. On that note, China is a very interesting place I think many American's should visit! This is a picture from downtown Shanghai earlier today. Shanghai is an ENORMOUS city! Very exciting to see it in person!

Hey guys, I am in China (Kevin) for the next 5 days visiting the factories we work with to make our products! I do not have access to Facebook or any other form of social media as they block all of it here, but I know many of you were wanting to see pictures through out the trip, so I figured I would make a thread where every night I will post experiences of the trip. It is 6:30 AM here as I type this, so just waking up to my first full day here, but took a few pictures last night after leaving the air port and grabbing a late dinner! Food is certainly interesting out here to say the least! Things I can already tell work much differently out here..more info to come on that later . The factory I must say is treating me very well since getting out here! Excited to go over some new product designs with them today!

Hey guys, Today at Florida State Finals we made a quick HD Video today of the ZVX-15 in action being powered by a SK-2500.1 wired @ 1 ohm. This is in Garrett's jeep - which some of you may have seen the prototype 15 ZVX in prior to this video. We actually dropped in the production model ZVX-15 at the show and it is the one shown in this video. A lot of you were asking to see one of the ZVX woofers in action, so we went ahead and made this video today! These woofers are now fully stocked and available in 12/15/18" Sizes in D1 and D2 coils. Got a Saturday delivery on the container after customs finally finished inspecting it so we could ensure all pre-orders shipped Monday! 750 Watts RMS Would be pushing a VVX-8 beyond its mechanical limit. I would try out the MA-8 if you really need to push that much power to one 8" woofer!
