  1. Let me start off by saying I am new to SMD, and find a lot of good reads here! Secondly, please don't hesitate to move this thread if there is a build log section (I did not see one). Hey Everyone, With the subs really close to arriving, it was time to start getting some vehicles ready to demo the VVX-12 Line. Just a little information before pictures....I bought this vehicle about 3 months ago when they went into production because of the trunk room and passenger room. The trunk on this bad boy is HUGE, and measured out perfectly to fit 4 12's without crowding and allowing space to do the other things I wanted. The wheel well was also very large and deep allowing perfect space for the extra batteries. ETA on the VVX-12 is about 1 week if interested. On a side note, this is not a SPL number vehicle, but instead a daily vehicle that get's nice and loud. We may at one point change the setup for numbers but not at this time. I have a customer who is doing (16) VVX-12's in a 2007 F-150 Double Cal which should be promising if anyone is interested in numbers. Shout out to Jacob Fuller @ Sundown Audio for sponsoring this vehicle (Amplifiers) as well as his partnership in the design of the VVX-12 Subwoofer! In this Picture below. You can see the box ready for the Four Subs. It is 3.5 Cube's per side after displacement and Tuned @ 36Hz. Box is sitting on a false floor and batteries are underneath (next picture). In Front of the Box is another part of the false floor that is covered in a gray vinyl. Amp is attached to this and other then that picture is self explanatory. We were going for a really clean look which should be achieved when final picture's are taken with Subs installed. The Green centerpiece is vinyl that we built the SKAR logo into, just for a little promotion . In this picture as stated, sit the two Shuriken SK-BT100 Batteries in the spare tire wheel well. The Pictures I will try and post today or tomorrow will show the SAX-100.4D Which is located on a false wall behind the rear seats (which can fold down.) It sits on the same color as the green centerpiece and then another wall covers almost that one entirely and has a oval cut to show the amplifier and a very small amount of green which is illuminated by LED's. It's complete, but until I get out to the car this is all I have on my phone.
