What about the 15? Im seriously considering this sub because im in the process of building a box for my jeep for one 15. The cvr is worn out. its lasted a year about haha. Hopefully the sub can handle a fosgate 1000bdcp at 1ohm. Just did the big three on my jeep and very big improvement than stock. The stock ground wire was smaller than 8 gauge. Id love to come pick up the sub personally and visit yall see the enterprise. Never visited a place where subs are made
The SKAR VVX-15 should do really well on 1000 RMS daily. It is a pretty beefy driver and can def handle more then rated power.

How much do the 10s like sealed and ported? and the 8s sorry
10s : Ported : 1.5 FT^3 Minimum
Sealed : 1.0 FT^3 Minimum
8s : Ported : 1.0FT^3 Minimum
Sealed : 0.8FT^3 Minimum
Those should be met after displacement is taken into consideration.

I have been meaning to get more current information posted on the entire VVX line now that it is complete! As many of you may know from some of the SKAR Audio team builds, these woofer's are underrated at 600 Watts RMS, but nonetheless here are the specifications!

If I'm not mistaken sir when you clamp a amp you clamp the positive speaker wire and you read voltage across pos and neg speaker output. Not the positive power wire... :-) nice test though.. my teamates skars slam.
Glad to hear your teammates SKAR's slam, I only get too hear the Florida rides! Soon that will change though, I want to start making my way to shows outside of the state!

Is the 8 bottoming out? Also why is the surround folding like that?
I did get it to bottom out in this video yes - I do have a few more better demonstrations of the 8s free air where it does not however. Little monsters these guys are.

I know many of you asked about the SKAR's in a sealed setup, and there aren't many around as people have been pushing ported setup's it seems.
This is Robert's truck out of Orlando, FL. I met with him locally to discuss the line before he purchased and he is now very pleased with them! He installed them in his pre-existing sealed enclosure and they sound awesome!

It's finally that time for SKAR Audio to host it's first CASH contest!
After sitting down with the team @ SKAR Audio we wanted to finally put in motion a long time contest idea we've had! This contest is free to enter and yes – has a cash prize rewards for first, second, and third place finishers. The overall concept of the contest is pretty simple, and is explained in depth below. You don't need to own SKAR Audio subwoofers to participate.

Contest Begins : October 1st, 2011
This is a video contest that will take place primarily on YouTube! We are looking for all of you to make and submit video's of SKAR install's in action! As stated above, you don't need to be a SKAR customer, but you will need to know someone who has a SKAR setup in order to submit a video. The rules are explained below, but this should be a fun, simple, friendly contest. Winner's will be announced on this forum as well as other's and we will mail your Visa Gift Card via UPS Ground one week after finalizing results.
How to Win : The first contestant to submit a SKAR YouTube video that gain's 8,000 views will win 1st place in this contest. We will be tracking the view count daily, and if it's very close then even more frequently then that. The next 2 contestants to reach this view count will win 2nd and 3rd place prizes respectively!
Videos must be submitted on or after October 1st, existing SKAR YouTube video's are not eligible for submission. *If you already have popular video's – don't hesitate to shoot a new, altered video according to guidelines below and enter the contest!
