Hi Everyone!
I know it has been quite some time since I have been as involved on these forums as I used to be, and I apologize for my absence lately. We have been moving from our old location here in Tampa, FL of about 5,500 sq ft to a much larger location of around 15,000 sq ft over the past couple of months.
We are finally settling down in the new warehouse here and so while I am still playing catch up I figured I would stop in and post on behalf of our entire team for the support you guys continue to show us.. Last year around this time it was myself and 2 other guys running the gig and getting your orders out on a full time basis; as of this post today thank to all of the loyalty and support our customers have shown us, we are now up to 12 full time employees.
It sure is a lot of fun coming into work and doing what I love everyday with a great team of guys behind the Skar name, and so we are excited about continuing to serve such a great customer base and grow as we wrap this year up and head into 2015!

We have most models of amplifiers left as we tend to have some come and go, but for the most part will have a few of each at any point in time. We have been crazy busy and I apologize for not getting on here more often, but if you need something you an go ahead and order it and unless there is a problem we will get it shipped and send you tracking.

If setup properly and with the correct amount of electrical the SK-4500.1D can usually be ran without a hitch at 0.5 ohm just like any of the other SK mono blocks.. That being said however - we cannot warranty them at that load because this unfortunately is not a perfect world and running below 1 ohm opens the door to many issues outside of our control if not properly installed.
You will be quite happy with any SK Series amplifier you choose though =) the line has been around for years and very few changes have been made because of it's true and tested end user results.

These are actually going to feature a generic 12" spoke basket on the 10/12/15" models and a 4 spoke on the 18".
Regarding the other questions..
- The TXL-10 does feature a 3.5" Voice Coil like all of the other sizes in this series. It took an extensive amount of time and revisions to this particular size to get a coil of that size working optimally..
- TXL-10/12" spider diameter is 185mm
- TXL-15/18" spider diameter is 205mm
- The TXL series feature extra thick flat tinsel leads that can handle the rated power and then some without any problems.
These along with the new IX series are not far out from arriving now and I am very excited to get these in customers hands! They are absolute monsters and should give our competitors exactly what they've been waiting for =)
These can be pre-ordered on our website and about half of all the units arriving in 15 days have been persons already.

Please send us in the subwoofers, if it is a manufacturer defect we will take care of it for you. It sounds like there is a possibility if your coils are not burnt up, in which case we will send you back new woofers at no charge =). If they are burnt up, recone kits are $50 shipped and can be ordered via PayPal to [email protected]

I have talked to many customers who run the RPX Coaxials as well as many shop owners who really love the quality/sound/price of them. They are a great mid-level price range coaxial speaker that perform well on both factory power and amplified power. Of course if you have amplified pwoer we recommend running either our VXI65 Component or SPX Component Speaker Systems, but hands down I really believe you would be happy going with our coaxial line =)
I am going to get a few videos of them performing in vehicles over the next few days.

My T2000.1D arrived today in great condition! Fast shipping (day earlier than tracking number had suggested) and excellent sound quality. Couldn't resist and hooked it up as soon as I got it and oh my, what an upgrade over a Rubicon 1600. Can't wait till my XS gets here and I use my DD-1 on it! +1 for Skar Audio.
