  1. No I got it but I'd just prefer my old knob cause I dont have short RCA's or an extra pair and if I did it I'd want the same knuconceptz im running so does ANYONE have a NORMAL AP1500 or similar model bass knob for sale?
  2. Shipped to 04037? for one does it do rated at 2ohm? and at what voltage?
  3. Really?! does the Collossus do rated @ 2ohm? Two of my 18's is a 2ohm LOAD so I'd need that I forgot to say or two 1 ohms. I REALLY only needa bout 3200RMS.
  4. I should have said I'm also too broke to spend more than $400 on the amplifier
  5. I want to run 3.5k RMS what amplifier do that rated at 14v or UNDER. I'm running an AP and to get rated I need 14.4v which ill NEVER hit I dont plan on keeping my jeep down the road so I dont want to put a $600 alternator in it and 3 batteries and tons of runs of 0 gauge right now. But I do want to run my second 18 and its going to be about 3200-3500RMS. How does this sound? Fitzall 220a Alternator /w 15v Regulator Big III Knu Conceptz XS 3300 In the Back - To run the amplifier or BOTH amps if chosen XS 1200 In the Front Audiopipe 3000.1D That's set me back about $700 in electrical vs $600 for JUST the alternator. and ill use the fitzall/batteries and big III in my new vehicle.
  6. So this is a SLA knob? actual LEVEL not Bass Boost? I noticed the AP Bass knobs add slight clipping and arent as loud as without the knob. I also dont watn to buy the SAME thing since it was build semi cheap. For 19.99 ill give it a try How does it work? How do I tie my RCA's into it? Do I have to buy ANOTHER set now to run from this to the back?
  7. Ok I've had my AP1500.1 about 6 months now the knob is all broken andw obbly but still worked well last night it stopped working if I plugged it in it quieted the subwoofer a little but turning the knob did NOTHING if I unplugged it it got louder as it should but... now I have no bass knob. Is there a Level Control knob that will fit on the AP1500.1 that I can buy it doesnt use the RJ adapter.
  8. No I know what coil rub is and I always push in the center with my palm around the dustcap im no rookie thats why this sound is baffling me ive never heard this before. almost sounded like something was hitting the cone then i realied nothing was then i noticed it sounds more like rubber rubbing on something or sticking oh well
  9. haha true thanks guys i guess well jus chalk it upto the unknown its hard to tell waht the sub does when its playing theres so much damn rattle in my jeep.
  10. I know but wouldnt u guys be a little scared if ur 6 month old sub was doing this? lol
  11. Haha I know I just dont get why it never did this until now its got me freaked but ill ignore it i guess
  12. Audibly sounds great doesnt hinder performance just erks me that this things already having so many problems ugh.
  13. haha hell no man L Slot ported tuned to 27hz. any suggestons on things to check and ill do it, so far I checked spiders at the cone, tinsels, surround etc. cant find a problem I do get tinsel lead slap but they tinsels dont even touch when I push the sub down not even close, even free air full tilt damn things barely touch.
  14. bump guys is this normal have you or anyone youve known ever had this? I dont get why it does it when its in box but not when its outta the box
  15. So I just went out to my jeep and pushed down on my cone (I do it all the time tom ake sure its in running order.) It makes a creaking sound whenever I do this (has been since I built my new box.) It almost sounds like rubber creaking, if I do it enough it eventually stops but if I go back the next day or hours later it'll do it again. I dont think its tinsel touching since it doesnt do that free air I checked the spider/dustcap and they're intact I basically went over everything and remounted the sub. Didnt seem to do it with the subwoofer out of the box, could this be bad? It could just be the surround and spiders unstiffening after sitting, it almost sounds like it concidering it stops im just hoping its not something worse.
  16. could be right my dudes... thanks n8 glad we could put differences aside You're right I must have tuned wayyy too low I have PLENTY of port area now haha. I think I'll do 32 or 33hz @ 6cft. Should this hit the lows about as good as it does now AND hit highs or is 32hz STILL too low? and yes I listen to tons of decaf but even decaf doesnt sound loud anymore. Only REAL low songs sound good any song with a mid/high is barely loud.
  17. I figured just wanted to know if 34hz would be a good medium (tried 35hz before wasnt extremely happy with lows)
  18. So I built a 27hz 6.8cft box for my 18, didnt change any of the amp settings and it just sounds weak it hits lows NICE moves a lot of air and flexes a lot but doesnt sound audibly loud. Should I aim for 6cft @ 34hz?
  19. once again no name no date. Follow the rules or stop posting it!
  20. so... you order online? $180 + free shipping for a XS1200. and you HARDLY need a D3200 unless you're running like 3kwrms. They rate the 1200 @ 1500watts.
