I have four db drive platinum series 15s (1000w rms) and im trying to pick an amp that will work my subs. Ive wasted lots of money and time buying amp after amp from blowing them. i will admit that they arent the best of choice, but they are what i can afford. I admit im a novice to installing, which i do not do, and to amp selection. I just want input on what kinds i should go for, new or old amps(i can try and locate discontinued amps) thanks in advance for the advice.. amps ive had Planet Audio 5000.1 (burnt out) trash product will never buy a planet audio amp again. I have 4 15s, pushing a 1000watts a piece. which amp will giv me the better output at 1 ohm between Sound Storm Cruiser amplifier (CR5000.1) and RE Audio XTX-5000.1.. and does anyone know if either one can handle running at a .5 ohm.... which amp is just better for durablitiy, sound quality, and actual power..
