I went and got my GED last year. I dropped out in 9th grade. All of the instructors of the classes told me because I dropped out in 9th grade I would most likely have to take classes for at least a year. I told them to just give me the placement test and I will prove myself. I ended up acing the placement test then getting a 3780/4000 on the real test. I didnt do any studying, took a total of 2 weeks to get my GED. I am not saying you will do this, I am just saying if you have a general knowledge for most things, you should be able to get in fairly quickly with minimal classes. By the way, I took it in NY, so IDK if its harder/easier than SC...

We offer a 300 amp unit for $599. It does 150 amps by 800 rpm , full output by 1800 rpm.
You are right on the verge of being able to get away with the stock alternator. You could always just try doing the big three, and adding our overdrive pulley kit to boost the output at idle. The cable end and pulley kit is only $75.
Ok, well maybe I will just get a second battery instead of going all out on a new alternator. Thanks for your honesty I have the Big 3 done BTW...

They will work in any vehicle that has a battery.

My buddy has a single Fi X 15 and it is ok, doesnt take much power at all though. What kind of amp are you going to be using? There was a dude selling a pair of DC level 3 15s on here for pretty cheap, I would take those over the FIs.
-
Meh, that was funny about 4 years ago, since the OP fails, I will show you guys TRULY insane flex. This dude has went through like 3 or 4 windshields in the last 4 months. 6 18s on 32k watts, AMAZING FLEX!!!!

Problem fixed. After bugging around with the internet card I uninstalled the graphics drivers and reinstalled fresh ones from the site.
All's working great now.
You drove from Indiana to Texas to go fix his computer problem..?
-
No worries. But since he didn't have enough common sense to figure out that. He must of thought if he put 12 quantity, he was going to get 12, 1 foot, pieces of wire.
Oh well.
Wow, someone must have sand in their vagina. Why so harsh?

Can someone PM me a quote on a high output alternator for my 2008 Mazda 3 hatch with the 2.3 liter motor? I will be running 2k-2.5k RMS so I doubt my stocker will cut it...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I am sorry, but you put a crazy nice alarm system like that and did all those security things...in a 10 year old Kia? You must live in a really shitty neighborhood
-
Getting this right now.
-
Yeah, you wonder why it got stolen in the first place. Irresponsible bumping will get your shit jacked quick...

For the price of 3 of those, you could buy a dedicated sub for the computer, be less ghetto, and still be able to use it once you get a car again and put your car equipment in.
oh and have money left over.
bad idea you got there imo.
as stated: I already have them just lying here. Thats what gave me the idea.
I build computers out of my house for a side job-
main job- I work in a flower shop XD XD
pics of my machine anyone?
Double up the wire on EACH power supply. Like put 2 yellows(+) together on one and do 2 blacks (-) on the same one and just do it for each other power supply.
already considered
+5 for being an intelligent person
I would like to see some pics, but anyways, why not just sell the Corsairs and buy a real plate amp? I wouldnt do it to be honest, that is just begging for something to go wrong. Just my 2 cents, feel free to burn your house down though
-
It isnt 2 channels, it is just split up to make it easier to wire. You will be perfectly fine wiring one coil to each set of positive and negative.
-
I think the best thing for you to do would be to just send me the sub before something goes wrong I will cover the shipping cost
But really, you will be fine doing one voice coil to each channel as long as your amp is stable at the load you will be putting it to. What amp do you have? There arent many 2 channels that will do that sub any justice.
-
Not taking any trades I guess? Can you do 220 shipped on this? If so, PM me your paypal address...

Well these are the RFs I've had my eye on.

and save for the power series..
I'm a fan of the PUNCH series, and spending that much isnt much of an option. I work 3-5 hours a week sometimes, and after gas, I have only about $30-40 to save... And the sooner I can upgrade, the better...
Sounds like you have a good job, besides the 3-5 hours a week part. If you can bank 40 bucks a week and pay for gas, and only work like 4 hours, that sounds pretty good. Why not just ask to work more hours? How the hell do you only work 3 hours a week? lol I work 5 times that in one day somedays...
Also, although I feel like a hypocrite saying this, since I only have like $1k in the bank and I spend any extra cash on electronics, I dont think you should even be worried about your system if you are only making that much money. What happens when your car breaks down? Or something else comes up you need cash for?

I replaced all the interior bulbs in my car with LEDs and also added LED strips to all of the footwells, and wired them into the domelight so they turn on when the car is unlocked/door is opened. I used white LEDs, blue are too ricey for me, but I absolutely LOVE the look and the amount of light they put out. One of the best <$50 mods I have ever done to ANY of my cars. Makes it feel like a higher end luxury car in my opinion. Everyone that gets in compliments on them.

Traded these for a Termlab, thanks for the interest guys, let this thread die in peace

lol, thanks micah....
But seriously, 4 12s is easily enough to get crazy air moving, just dont expect those hfis to do very well. I did a pair of them in 4 cubes tuned to 33hz and they bottomed out on about 250 rms a piece. they didnt sound very great either, but I guess thats to be expected from 30 dollar speakers. I would do 2 better 15s than 4 low level 12s. Something like AQ SDC2.5 15s should move good, or perhaps dc level 3 15s? Thats just my recommendation.
thanks for the suggestion. i want to stick with the 12's just bc of my plans to run the sa 12's once i have the cash for them. your right about them not sounding the best but they still do a great job considering the price
Like I said, I would do 2 better 15s than 4 lower level 12s, but that is just my opinion. You could do some cheap cheap 15s just to have some beat. Something like these http://www.amazon.com/Lanzar-MAXP154D-2000-Watt-Small-Enclosure-Subwoofer/dp/B000O3XT4W/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1292366521&sr=8-2
I doubt they would sound any worse than the hfis, and that way when you wanna upgrade, instead of dropping 6-700 on 4 sa12s, you could do something like 2 dc XL15s, or Nightshade 15s or something like that. I personally would take 2 nightshade 15s over 4 SA12s. Once again, just my 2 cents

It really depends what you wanna spend. you could jump up to Fi SSD 15s for not too much more, and they should BANG. Thats just my recommendation.
