  1. It took my 2 uncles about 8 months to rebuild my grandmas house after it burned down. They had to hold off throughout the whole winter pretty much though, and there was a lot that needed to be done. Anyways, they got the plans and I dont remember the exact costs, but I know she ended spending about double what the place that sold the plans said it would cost after all the little things get factored in.

  2. I was thinking of getting a 250 but then figured with a 600 I wouldn't have the need for getting a bigger bike. I've ridden dirtbikes and enduro's before though I've never ridden a sportbike.

I guess it sort of depends on how big you are. Either way, a dirtbike and an enduro is not even close to the power you will have on tap with a 600cc superbike. If it were me, I would get a Ninja 250 and ride it for a year. Get the hang of how to ride correctly, then when you sell it you should have no problem getting MOST of your money back on it, then move to a bigger bike. You also should take lessons from a professional instructor if you have that available to you. You could always have your bike tuned down, which I think some states make you do that when you first start. Also, yes a Ninja 250 is nothing crazy, but they still do the quarter mile in around 14 and a half seconds, which is pretty quick on 2 wheels first starting out. The 500s will do the 1/4 in high 12s, which is faster than a lot of cars you will see on the road, even cars that cost 10x the cost of the bike.

  3. here they come...the dont do it or you'll die posts. Ride what you want. I started on a 1000, had 3 of them. now ride a busa (1300) Think a 600 "someone called a superbike!!!" is plenty small enough to learn on. if you are going to hurt yourself on that....stay in a cage!!!(car)

Miles sound great. my 06 has 11,000 miles and I am a fair weather rider only!!! lol. At 8,000 its ready for a tuneup, a chain, and some looking over, but nothing big. good luck with your purchase and when your ready to ride, just allow more than enough of a cushion till you get the feel on it. overconfidence is where you'll get hurt.

So you are saying it is fine to start on basically a street legal race bike, and the chances of wrecking arent outrageously high? One bump can cause you to blip the throttle unintentionally and that bike will be flipping over, even at higher speeds those bikes have enough power to flip if you dont know what you are doing. I would suggest going one or two riding seasons on a much less powerful bike(Ninja 250, or a 500 at most IMO) just to learn how to ride correctly. Everyone thinks they can just jump on a superbike and go 160 mph and take turns going 100. No, its not that easy.

  4. Nice. Are those Havocs? What are you doing amp wise?

I hope you're joking. But unfortunately I know you're not.... wow.

I meant those old subs (that were in the box). How don't they look like these:

    ascendantaudio.com/products/Ascendant/Havoc/HavoclLineFront.jpg

They both don't have a dustcap (which is uncommon) and have a little badge on the sub

Lmao, they both have dustcaps and it is soooo easy to tell they are W7s. The badges dont look anything alike. Also, common sense would lead most people to reading the OPs signature to see what he was running before posting a stupid question. Also, do you see any screws in his setup holding the subs down? No, because that is a JL patented mounting system.

  5. 1. Product: Up for sale I have a pair of JL Audio 8w7v3s

    2. Specs: Single 3 ohm, 8 inch, close to 25lbs each, move some crazy air.

    3. Description/Condition:

I was getting a t-shirt in my front window to move pretty good with these in a leaky 2 cube box tuned to 33hz on about 7-800 RMS for the pair. Manual says 500 RMS a piece is the highest you should go with these but I wouldnt be scared to put more to them as long as you know what you are doing. The excursion of these things is AMAZING!!! I would easily put these up there with the best 8s out there. They arent too much quieter than my 15 inch DC level 4 with 5 coil. onelivinlarge can vouch for the amazingness of these lol These are in great shape, one has a rub mark which DOES NOT go through the surround from drilling a screw in. The motors are in good shape, have a couple scuffs but nothing crazy, EASILY 9/10 cosmetic, 10/10 mechanically.

    4. Price: : I will start these out at $180 plus shipping EACH, or $350 plus shipping for the pair. I am in no hurry to sell these but the price is a little bit negotiable. Please dont try and lowball me with 120 shipped or something like that. These subs are in great shape and still have all the original packaging so they are like new in box. I am willing to trade these for something interesting lol nothing specific really, just make me an offer.

  6. On 360 you can mod your save with Horizon, though you have to pay 5 bucks a month to use it, Be careful about spending online though I.E. Auction House, I got banned from online play the other day after a few months giving away billions of credits.....if you dont know how to mod your save I can post a little TuT on it.

I don't really play online, so it is a non issue.

I got my saved game, and I can get it open to edit in Modio. Only thing is: I don't know where to change what. If you have time, I would love a turorial please.

Did you extract you save using USB Xtaf Xplorer??? Also Modio doesnt have a mod tool for Forza 3. Only Horizon on XboxMB.com has the Forza tool, I would mod it for you but my month that I payed for has expired....

Yes, I did. Thanks anyway =(

Is there anyone else who would be willing to mod it for me? I am 16, no credt card, and my parents won't let me get the program. I would be grateful if anyone could do this for me.

Can you tell me the point of this? Why even play the game, honestly?

  7. Yeah i understand. Thanks man. I honestly looked around at amps and stuff but i had a pretty specific question to ask dealing with my setup. I couldn't get an answer out of any other threads.

Yeah i know. I got that too. I was just pissed off that he said that, plus it was late at night. But i completely understand and he is right. If i don't know what i am doing, i shouldn't try and do more then i understand.

Yeah dude, level 4 with level 5 soft parts. Which i am being told is the same thing as a level 5?

With the batteries, i was planning on just getting some more 1800HC's but i honestly don't know if that will cut it or not. Seeing as i already have one HC1800.

The subs i am like 99.9% positive that they are 2ohms. But yeah your right i should totally know what i ordered. But i kinda ordered them in a rush. I should have asked more questions and took down what i exactly got. Sorry man, huge mistake on my part though. I completely get that.

Yeah i just want to be able to pound and not have any problems with the amp. My friend got a hellfire amp and when it got to him, everything inside was blown to crap. He bought it straight from them too. I really don't want that to happen to me

I am assuming you mean the level 5 coil option offered through DC? Or do you mean you had them reconed completely with a level 5 recone? As far as I know, the level 5 coil option does NOT have all of the same softparts as a level 5, just the coil. It might be a different spider too, but I am not sure. I have a level 4 with level 5 coil, and it gets moving damn good on 1500 RMS, I have heard of people putting 2k to them, but I wouldnt go any higher than that.

  8. OP, if you are planning to build a box in the trunk, you could look into my previous suggestion(thunderbird super coupe) They are a lot more rare to see than Mustangs and with a little work, they will walk all over Mustangs. I loved mine, but the previous owner beat on it so I just got rid of it. A nice 94-95 with lower miles can be had for like 4-5k then you can put the other 2k into mods. They are much more comfy and luxurious than a Mustang/Camaro/etc....
