you guys are looking at the fuse ratings wrong. something i read on fusing.
just for future references, a good spec to look at is the fuse rating.
40a x 5
40 amps * 5 = 200 amps
200 * 14.4 = 2880
2880 * .8 (typical class D efficiency) = 2304
hmm your close.. try this..
I measure 12.8V, take 65% eff and my amp have two 30 amp fuse:
30A * 2 = 60A
60A + 1/3 = 80A (current point to blast fuse)(sinwave input-----squarewave output)
Now we need to calculate the RMS output value ...we will use 60A value
60A * 12.8V = 768VA
768VA * 0.65 = 499 ...say 500Watt RMS output
so what you're saying is that at 80 amp draw the fuses will blow and that your figuring the rms output at 12.8 volts 65% efficiency?

touch the leads on the dmm together and see what that reads. subtract that from w/e ohm load your reading when you test your subs.

my streetwires ultraflow is ofc

4500+ strand oxygen free copper is crap? give it to me lol

2 years of dating and after 2 weeks of fighting and your ready to call it quits? try solving the problem?
well either way good luck with the whole still being friends thing lol. can try being honest talk to her about it and hopefully she won't get too emotional/crazy. my experience, being honest never really helps and they usually get emotional/crazy anyways. actually being honest usually screws me over more lol. that or try to get her to dump you haha.

nice vid and sweet setup! i've seen that paypal to top dog quite a few times on my computer xD

try doing 2 +s and 2 -s from the amp instead of having all 4 go into one. maybe you'll get a better connection not having to twist so many wires together.
-
that's what confused me as well. flat wall was sitting pretty at .5ohm final load.
he should be re-wiring everything today. he has all his 8 gauge wires running to the back where they all get spliced and connected to one 8 gauge wire that goes into the amp which is my guess for why it's sitting high (or least part of the reason)
-
kkk ive been tryin to help him but i'm kinda noobish at this stuff
things i wanna add. subs are dual 4s. 8 gauge wiring from subs, directly to the amp. box used to be a flat wall, was just rebuilt to a 4th order. what i don't get if it was a bad coil why each sides reads around 1.7 with just 2 subs.

48sqin is a conversion of the 310sqcm you gave. 78 would be a 10. 48 would be an 8.
