Power and ground wire MUST be the same size....someone explain this in detail before, but I can't remember the exact reason. Has to do with the flow of electrons or some shit. Could be the problem...i would put something under the fuse..screw it to a piece of wood so it doesn't melt through the carpet and then ground out to your chassis and fire ball of doom.
hope that helps
ok yeah i think i might just upgrade to 0 gauge any ways \
and yeah i think im going to make an amp rack and put the fuse block on there
-
you have 8 gauge power wire...
its like trying to suck a watermelon through a coffee stirring straw
yeah i know its pretty ghetto so do u think the power going through the 4 gauge and its trying to ground but there isnt a big enough ground to ground it maybe its kinda constricting it and compacting all the power to the fuse block or somthing idk

-
meh i agree.
i was just saying he was looking for 2k @ .5, and doesnt think the sundown would do it.
@ OP why not 1 ohm?
I would love to do 1ohm but I have a dual 1 ohm sub
-
Used sundown saz-1500
I was looking for something with 2000. Watts plus lol but sundown is by far my favorite brand if only I could afford there 2500
-
I'm looking for an amp thhay is stabe at .5 ohms I'm looking to get 2000 watts and no more than 400 $
-
lol thanks man ive been trying to find it for a long time

dont get what your sayng, having one sub at 8 ohms will the rest are in 2ohms? no.
if you have any decent amp, stable atone ohm. 1.33 is perfect.
ok lol do u think there is a diagram or should i just keep playing around with the wireing and look at my multi meter
-
wire each sub up to 8ohm then wire them back down to get a 1.33 ohm load
is it possible to wire it all in parrales then the last sub in serries to increase the impedance
-
i was wondering how i would wire 6 dual 4 ohm subs and what the lowest impedance i could get i am looking to get 2 ohms can any one help me
-
But Upgraded batteries, alternator, and big 3 handle AQ2200 at 1 ohm?
i dont have the audio q yet i still have a hifonics brutus 2100 i think i will upgrade the electrical stuff first so when i do get the audio q it will be redy to run at .5 ohms
-
not only do you have to have a good amp but ur electrical needs to be top notch to be able to safely run @ .5ohms
yeah i might keep it at 1 ohm till i get a new alt and battery
-
you have to have 2 dvc 1ohm subs to get a 1 ohm load or 2 dvc 4ohm subs
ok i might get a recone cause im afraid my amp cant handle .5 ohms
-
how do i wire a 1 ohm dvc to 1 ohms i know how to wire it to .5 ohms but dont know how to make it 1 ohm
-
I didn't think the 06 had a electronic manual transmission. Maybe I'm off a year or two. But from what you just said dumbass (in a funny way because I would laugh my ass off at a friend for doing it) he's probably has some nice gear shavings throughout the tranny
its an automatic transmission cause hes a noob and dosent know how to drive stick
-
Extended warranties. And to the tranny repaired 2k is about right. Do it yourself which isn't fun. Manual trans aren't as hard as automatics but it's still a big pain in the ass and probably better to have done somewhere. May I ask how he fucked it up for my entertainment?
[/quote
yeah sure basicly he fails at know how to break tourque and pushed the break as hard as he could and then he floored it tires didnt budge then you hear a little pop then all of a sudden hes hittin the rev limiter
please help my fuse block is melting
