Alright guys, i've been trying to follow along on what you all are sayin, but its kinda confusing. I do alot better with visuals so i will use the navigator that Meade built for an example. meatwhistle i'm not trying to steal your thread, just trying to understand.
I see that he has 2 sets of wires running from the engine compartment to the rear, which is (2) power, and (2) ground. But where do they come from?? I've been looking at the build pics and it looks like one ground is coming from the alternator bracket, and one from the engine battery, is that right? Also, where do the power wires originate from? it looks like they go directly from the alt to the rear batteries??? I know that the navi doesn't have extra batts in the back, but from what i understand when i add extra batteries, i need to ground them to the chasis, and also the alt bracket is the best place to ground when a car is running, true? Meade, or David, can u PLEASE explain what's goin on in this engine compartment ???
I'm asking cause i am going to need multiple runs or 1/0 gauge wire for my setup as well as extra batteries, and i know you guys know how to do it the correct way! thanks
