oh ok sorry was in class had to read quickly but yea I know what u mean the 55" would only come into play if I were building the box from within the trunk but no I am having someone build it so more than likely it wont happen that way so 35"x15"x40" would be my max dimensions sorry for confusion

The measurements are the whole trunk I want to use all of the space needed Yea my backseats fold down so I measured te opening to make sure it would fit it's 35" wide 15" high and to the back of my trunk it is 40" deep it opens half way through to 55" wide

I will be putting on a 2500-3000 watt amp on them I was really asking what type of design want it to look good but sound great

Ok so Im putting 2 12" xcons in the trunk of my grand prix gxp max dimensions are 35"W opens to 55"W 15"H 40"D. I want it ported what do you guys think would be the best box type of port which direction and so on I wont be building it but I also want the best and the builder Im using can do it. It is not a comp car however I play my music loud everyday and I want to be heard
