  1. Alright well for 700$

are you stuck on certain size woofers? i mean do you want us to start building you the best system for the money?

Basically i'm not fussy at all, 700$ is my maximum (prefer to spend a bit less even) but aside from that i dont mind, as long as its loud and easy to find in a fairly local store. however i do like the idea of two 12" subs, whatever brand. but thats just a thought and i can easily change my mind if you have a better idea, especially if its one 12" that is as loud as the 2 sony xplods... (i kind of need the boot space)

Go in to your Local shops that sell audio like, JB HI FI, Autobarn, Supercheap Auto, strathfield car radio etc. and just start doing some research on what subs and ampps you can get to fit your budget, that would be a start than come back on here and name the list of subs you like and let people on here say what they think would be the better choice

  2. www.mobileelectronics.com.au is the biggest australian car audio forum, head over there for some cool builds!

the team lolz laser thats linked above is one of the bigger builds out here at the moment, but there plenty of other stuff goin on too :)

my van with 4 15"s and 16x 6.5"s, my mates wagon with 4x 18"s in the back, Lunchbox.inc (on here) with the charade with 6x 15s bassraces mid 150s, plenty of people gettin loud in aus! also lots of crazy SQ build goin on too :)

can i please have a link to this build :) ??

  3. in order to run 3-4k, you're going to need the big three, an alt, and a couple agm deep cycle batteries. as far as subs go, look into dc sound lab, digital designs, and t3, just to name a few. there are tons of different companies that make amps that do 3-4k rms; digital designs, audioque, sundown, dc sound lab, stetsom (maybe), and soundigital. however, those are also just a few companies. welcome to the forum by the way. just hang out and research, its amazing how much you can learn from the SMD community.

i Agree with this , stick around and do lots of research before spending big $$ on a system
