well ported box's are like having the sub necked and you can put as much power i have seen a lot of people with ported box's blow up the V coil because they dont have a real bass amp and 18's are really bad about doing that. and not having ports keeps all the air in the sub well last longer and it well be just a little bit loader and thanks every one but i still didnt get my ? how do i how to make the ports at about 32hz im making 2 box's one ports and the other one closed

the box i want to make well be 3cubs but my truck is about a foot and a half high and about 3 and half wide and about 5 to the back sets i dont want to go no crazy right on the dot box but i want it 2 hit hard i think i might go with a closed box because u can put more power to the sub that way what do you think??

no the ports are at the bottom and your head is at the top it moves a lot of air and what do u mean cooky? for what i paded for some house subs and what they are there really load i mean there not even car subs and they hit just about harder them most 12's that go in cars well for the price

yea ill make a new one tomarrow it well be better no thats the brand but its crazy there really house subs and they hit so hard idk y but i love it. if u put your head close 2 them it well move your hair a lot nothing like steve's but its still good for what it is really i got a sround sound system pushing mine its 1000wats and the subs are half of it so 500wats and my subs are 400bpm so its about right no shit man that stuff is crazy
