  1. It takes awhile to tune each amp to each other.

I know cause I had 8 amps pushing 16 subs.

You will have to set and recheck then recheck again.

Then use a different tone and check again.

Then check again and adjust the sub sonic, and bass boost

Maybe, just maybe it will be close.

Then record the subs playing and slow down the tape and see how close you really are ;)

This is why I got my RF T3000's, they can match gains perfectly. But yeah listen to bill

  2. thanks bro......please come and see me during Autorama weekend :) im sure ill probably be there in one form or another even if i have to pay to have a spot to demo all day i probably will do that. (with the Tahoe, not the Caddy....caddy isnt moving for a minute still)

after the show, anyone who passes burrito's security requirments will be welcomed over for a brew, a shot, a rip and a personal taste of what im talking about. Ive never been this confident about a system before.....it really amazed me how loud it got......and i look back at all the pics, well over 1000, and its all worth it in the end. Especially since it could easily not have gone good...

its all good bro, see u there.

  3. I have heard Both the Level 4 Dc's and the MT/BTL

Totally different woofers and should not be compared really. If you get a second MT and at LEAST 4000-6000 watts for the pair, that would be the loudest way to go.

You can get TWO Level 4 15's for the price of ONE MT. But the MT will handle more power and get louder. For a value and IF cost as a concern, you cannot go wrong with the DC's and you only need 1/2 as much power to run those subs.

IF you just want to stomp down the block, and be the LOUDEST , get the 2nd MT 15.

  4. so what did u do too increase ur score? i say step up 2 2 18"S now that will be retarted!

Well, my BTl's have definately broken in and are louder. The extra runs of 0 guage and extra Kinetic 2400 made a big difference. I re-did ALL my grounds with BOLTS and have been adjusting my gains.

I would have done two 18, but they just would not fit right. Two 18's would need almost 14 cubes internal, and maybe I could have fit it, but the 15's seemed so much easier.

  5. One Eighteen will not fit right, so don't bother. Unless you are willing to give up your entire trunk and fiberglass it in there

Go with One BTL 15 ported with about 4-5 cubes internal tuned to 35. I have two in a 99 integra hatch with 6000 watts and it slams. One BTL 15 done right will be plenty loud in any car with a good powerful anp and proper electrical system
