    Yeah, the woofers were some recones he had laying around. The amps are running nice and cool at 1ohm and the Mayhams seem to peak a tad lower than the btl's I had before. Regardless, I will be in need some MOAR POWAA and my numbers will improve. I will probably order up some custom FI/AA woofer once my have all my amps back. Just wanted to share with you guys. And a big THANKS to Greg and Alpine for all the help. :drinks:

    oh and we didn't bassrace it last night, just some quick burps. Was doing 150.0-151.0 on music.

    was the teg still at the same volume level at the end of the video as it was when the roof was flexing like crazy? I'm referring to the first video.....cause I heard almost no rattling at the back of the car which I can't even fathom seeing how hard that thing is hittin'

    I have hushmat on the doors, rear panels and roof, 2 layers minumum, and every single inch of the trunk and hatch area. That probably why you don't hear anything!!

  14. Mechman 320 Amp Alt review

    So I got my 320 Alt in from mechman last week. After a few phone calls from Mechman to my installer, we got put in my 1999 Integra LS ( with a little extra work ) and everything works great.

    Ran my Two Dat 2500's full tilt on my Level 5's off of Four Kinetic 2400's and I had much less voltage drop than before. With my 130 amp alt I would drop down to 10.9 volts full tilt. With the new alt, I will never go below mid 13's after about fifteen minutes of play. So far, I have had no squeel or problems with this alt. It does not bog down the engine as I have the external regulator hooked up.

    Great Alt, no issues whatsoever. Thank you Mechman for taking all my calls and getting this alt to fit in my vehicle. I would highly recommend Mechman Alts to anybody looking for a large alt to fit in these small foreign cars.

    A 10 in my book!!
