I have replaced customers amps from loose connections so be a good investment in your equipment to have solid connections.

ok so how can i fix them now? cut off heatshrink and just heat and more solder? then re apply shrink?

Loose connections will cause quite a few problems, better to have it right the first time. Biggest thing is you can cause the connection to get ridiculously hot. Voltage drop, weak charging. Just to name a few more potential issues.

Run a (2) ground wires from front to back, that is best for your car IMO.

That bolt you are pointing at remove with a 15 mm socket, install two grounds 1/0 there, reinstall bolt and run wires to rear battery bank. Done

He means do a ground from battery neg to frame, like 18 inches or less as well as the runs thru the cab.

Either bolt coming off the alt case like some of the AD244 series GM HO alts have added to them or one of the mounting bolts that go thru the "feet" of the alt. When you get the Dual kit go direct to that bracket.

No that is the group class of the battery. Group 31 are 70-80 lbs each and just have enough reserve for what you are wanting to run.

4 runs of 1/0, 2 power and 2 ground, biggest AGM underhood and two group 31s in trunk, 270 or higher alt.

Cone area isn't everything, that is why you can see some builds where people are doing insane numbers with just 2 15s and then some people having a hell of a time to get loud with 6 15s, to many variables to list.

To the OP, it is a waste of 1/0 wire to do that to this type of amp unless the amp was over 25 ft away from the battery it was connected to.

There is absolutely not one need in any possible way at all even a little bit to use 0g on that amp. If, and ONLY if you still feel a need to run 1/0 to it. You still put a 60 amp anl fuse 6" from the battery and if you don't trust the fuses on the amp 6" from the amp as well.
Why would you put a fuse on the power wire 6 inches from the amp if the amp has on board fusing? It is completely pointless.

nice how many cubes is that box? and how do the aluminum coils performer over the copper?
8 - 8.5 depending on port he has running, and alum can run more power and are louder on the meter by a few tenths in my tests.

As long as you are above resting voltage, the float number doesn't matter, unless it is to high it can cause shortened life. And long and low is way to go, so 2 amp mode is the best for any battery to maintain it for the best possible results. People say do 10 amp cuz it takes less time to charge up is the reasoning.

When you pull enough current to dip the battery into resting or below range, if you stay in float range, then you can use stainless steel lol.
