  1. i know you bro...if you are gonna do something out of control and need a custom terminal built, i got you! Just let me know what's on your mind and i will see if i can whip it up. i think the best idea is a 2nd set (if you go that big or bigger) with 5,6,7,8 on them and they can be split up any which way ...seems like the best way to do it. But i can do even more than that if need be Right now I won't need that custom terminal yet, but in the future yes I will lol. I am doing a 2 15 box in my new daily, 2005 trailblazer. But my 1977 van when the time comes will need something a little more crazy And right now I have a customers tahoe I am working on doing a 4 15 box in and could use one of these.
  2. I would like to see a 35 second music run wide open final voltage drop at the end of the run.
  3. I can see that, I did try messaging him on FB, but remembered he doesn't use the messager lol so was like damn it.
  4. nope didn't call them, I can give that a try tomorrow, honestly didn't even think to call em, been pretty busy lol
  5. Got a little time to make this post, tried emailing the warranty email but never got a response, but what do I need to do to get this fixed? The White backlight LED I am assuming it is an LED is no longer coming on with the gauge. Everything else appears to be working fine. Do I need to send this back in? Thanks guys Also it just quit like a month ago, but just now getting time to make a post or follow up on it. It stopped working on me after car audio finals on the trip home.
  6. Been there done that, bridged the gap better my copper dual inputs on one of my 3500s with my wedding ring, did the same you pictured, now I take my ring off all the time working on electrical lmao.
  7. Fiberglass and hours of sanding It is an app and side slider iPad kit from soundman. iPad reads computer over Bluetooth from a GoPoint Tech obd2 reader.
  8. Decided to relocate my SMD VM-1 to a flush mounted look. Then replaced my custom gauge cluster with an IPAD mini. Paint job done with HVLP gun, color is Carbon flash black metallic. Let me know what ya think about it
  9. Thank you sir and will do, email will be from AMI CUSTOMS address.
  10. I need a new faceplate for my VM-1, gonna move it to a new location in the truck and gonna glass it in this time, old faceplate is destroyed. Figured this was best way to get your attention. Let me know how to get that going lol.
  11. I have the 2200 pulled from the car and could work something out with this.
  12. So can a pocket knife. Or the keys to remove pioneer single dins can be used too.
  13. I put all my shit together and ZERO noise in my setup. Myth
  14. My favorite trick is a hairtrick -For daily and competition use removable ports using bolts and T-Nuts. That way you have daily tuning and competition tuning. -When doing fiberglass molds, enclosures, pods, whatever, glass from the backside and then you only have to sand the face that is generally just resin coated fleece. -Under hood power wires, loom and wrap in electrical tape, electrical tape is flame resistance so acts as a insultor. -Never loom Ground wires, waste of time and money. -For max SPL, pay someone else, because it is a never ending headache
  15. Before the alt he did just have stock alt and just 2 d3400s, but both are underhood 15 plus feet away from the amp. Point being you could put full spool of OFC 1/0 to that amp and not hurt it one bit for a burp test on that dyno.
  16. I guess this guy right here is a dumbass then, silveradogoesbang on here, I did the install has a crescendo 3500 off just HO alt and full length run of power from the alt to amp, no voltage drop oh and he runs it at .7 ohm daily.
  17. How do dual inputs stack up against just 2/0? So like dual input 1/0 vs 2/0? All OFC and need test copper dual vs alum dual.
  18. Do a test with a 20 ft run of power on each so it is how it would be in a car. 1 run CCA vs 1 run OFC
  19. The answer is .144 watts, so a 1/4 watt 1k ohm resistor will work for the application. You would burn up a 1/8 watt. Great video Tony!!!
  20. Hey guess what You also can't measure resistance with a DMM if there is voltage present at the point you are measuring resistance (ohms).
