  1. subs are doing quite well. i can warm them up if i demo for awhile, playing songs i prob shouldnt be. but i will stick with the XLs, theyre taking it well. as far as voltage goes, its not that great. but i only have 1 XS3100 in the back, a ohio gen 270. and a yellow top up front. batteries will be added as soon as my job decides which direction its going.
  2. They're doing fine so far. they heat up once in awhile but i think thats due to voltage. but more batteries coming soon. other than that no complaints at all. it turned out better than i expected. im shooting for 55s at the headrest with new box and batts. and heres Traks vid. he shouldve zoomed out a little. lol
  3. yea, i agree. i think Traks has a better vid of her in his truck. it sits alot lower than mine (4x4).
  4. <<<<<is jealous. Do u have a build log kinda random pics, but here it is. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/107283-poorboy6977s-ranger-3-xl-15s/#entry1493573
  5. update: blazer was a bust so i cut down the wall to gain some legroom and just used 2 15s. it was louder. just threw in to test but still working on a permanent box with more port and a little deeper to aid in sealing it off. 155s in the kick so far and 153s in the headrest.pardon it being so ugly, it has several holes in it.theyve all been glassed over from the inside. once im happy with it a new one will be made. box is bolted in but the stands underneath are not. this was a test for the side port because with the 3 in the wall it only did 152s with port on top. this worked out so more testing to go. hopefully i will have something better in before finals.and i added a Ohio Generator 270
  6. MECA Mod5 153.2 MECA p&p 129.7 USACi 2001-4000 155.0 2 XL15s and DC9K in a wall, not sealed off, and M5 because of no fusing. still alot more testing to do. That was a quick throw in.Working on a more permanent/finished box now.

  9. Im sure he will be on a little later. But in case he doesn't see this, the 3500 is still for sale and what did u want to know about the box? Im the guy with the red ranger that was next to him.

  11. It got thrown back in for another comp. This will prob be the last vid of it and its coming out for good. I just bought a blazer and I'm going to pick up another XL and do a 4th order and hopefully pick up another 9k.
  12. Im ready to see it. Traks showed me a pic. It looks like its gonna do something.
  13. yea, i plan on doing quite a bit to it still. im gonna test with some pvc and a few other things before i start glassing. i still have to figure out a way to stop by wall from slapping the box. ive got 1.5 in of mdf between it and the box but im still getting a little flex and rattle. itll be a few weeks until its done but it should be worth it. but it probably doesnt help that its not sealed off yet either.
  14. Now im starting to get nervous. Ill keep this updated as it blows apart. Its got a double baffle and 2x4 bracing. Hopefully it wont be that bad. I still have a lot to do in the upcoming weeks.
  15. Damn, that sucks. No problems like that yet, but I only have a sundown 3500 on them right now.
  16. yea, i will when i pull it out again. we were short of time last night because of rain today and show tomorrow. its braced well inside and theres not much room to work with in a ranger so we'll see what happens.
  17. thinking bedliner right now. i have a couple weeks to decide before amps come in. and bmph8er we're using your garage
