  1. The door panels look fantastic. What are your end goals? Fiberglass and material wrap? custom paint? Just paint maybe? You're not just going to leave them the tan color are you?

Thanks. Right now im just getting everything in and working the way I want it. Once I re-do the air ride and clean up the engine bay im going to start back in on the interior. The wall will go in first since I plan on taking this to world finals. Not sure if ill be done in time to finish the mids and highs before that. But the plans up there so far are:

at least 3 pair mids per door/pillar

some fiberglass work for the headunit or a screen(undecided)

Fiberglass pods in the ashtray for the air gauges

Not sure if it'll happen yet, but switch box will sit in center console unless needed,

But im going to try and wire the rear window switches to do front/back so

It stays clean inside.(not sure it'll work yet)

and eventually all the tan will be gone. Im sure there's more, but is a project ever really done?

  2. update: dash is in and the truck runs again. still have a lot of cleaning up to do on the engine harness. a lot will be deleted under the hood. some paint and wire loom and hopefully it will look much better. the wires still hanging under the dash are from the door poppers. they will be removed and integrated in to the factory keyless entry.

  3. Love the frenched in Caddy tails. I've always loved those on that bodystyle truck.

*Edit: Did I see new headlights in the box? Wonder why the guy did the phantom lower grille and not on the upper over the headlights....

yes, those are new headlights. as far as the grille goes, couldnt tell ya.this interior swap is becoming a pain in the ass though. just little things here and there that need some persuasion.

just finished welding in the newer steering column support in and changed out the brake booster to fit. next comes the interior wiring harness, dash, and door panels. then time to work on the engine bay. alot of wiring to do in there.

  4. I recently picked this truck from another member here and figured id post pics of the work going in it. Its a 91 silverado bagged and bodied with a few other extras. Right now im in the process of making a few changes to the air ride as well as changing the interior to a 95+. here are some pics of the progress so far, mainly to the interior. im stripping the ranger and putting 4 XL15s in here for now, (recone to 18s later) and the 9K. trying to get it ready in time for MECA world finals.

still have some welding to do to get the dash in and a few changes here and there. some more wiring to do with the bags and door poppers. hopefully it will turn out well when im done. Maybe even throw up some good numbers. Im on my quest for 160 starting here.

  5. I recently built a wall in a ford ranger and have minimal rear wall flex. I built out the rear with mdf to the same distance as the metal brace and bolted the build out through the cab. This way the bottom half of the wall is approximately 2" thick. You need to try and seal off the wall so the rearward wave isn't getting behind the box.

yea, mine is built out too. but not being sealed off is what hurts me. this is the third window ive popped and the final one. i picked up a bagged silverado extended cab today thats gonna get my 4 XLs and when i get some $ another 9k. hopefully itll get down. interior is now stripped and working on it. shooting for that 160 mark :D

  6. Looks great...how dobthe two subs like that power? They taking it pretty well? What's your voltage like also

subs are doing quite well. i can warm them up if i demo for awhile, playing songs i prob shouldnt be. but i will stick with the XLs, theyre taking it well. as far as voltage goes, its not that great. but i only have 1 XS3100 in the back, a ohio gen 270. and a yellow top up front. batteries will be added as soon as my job decides which direction its going.
