  1. thanks. What if I added this to make people in the car and 3 cars over heads go crazy :ohttp://cgi.ebay.com/SOUNDSTREAM-BX-12-DIGI...1QQcmdZViewItem

I have the BX-10. The thing is it will increase your bass output tremendously. Furthermore, it will really punctuate the extra low frequencies...I think you'll like the BX-12. Be careful though, these things have a maximum signal output of about 13.5V and WILL drive your amp/s into clipping VERY quickly if you don't set your gain/s accordingly.

  2. One of my buds wants to throw a car stereo and 2 hifonics amps (I believe he's got a txi4006 and a txi6006)  that he's got laying around in his garage, but we can't seem to find a power inverter big enough.  I'd guess 50 - 75 amps should be plenty.  Does anyone have any connects on where to get one?

    Thanks

Power inverter or power supply? I'm starting to wonder what you really mean.

  4. yea but that means your alternator charges your battery, then goes back to the alternator for power, then sends the power to your amp? where as, you can hook it up to your battery, so then it goes from your alternator to your battery to your amp and saves you some loss in current.

Actually, your battery is not touched until the voltage is dropped to around 12.5 V (when your alternator cannot keep up). So your battery acts like a capacitor between your alt. and amp...with the exception that it can produce its own current.
