true.... its going to be walled off in my envoy i would just like to do it once and keep it for a while.. you know i dont want to do all this and be disappointed and have to change the setup.. i know everyone has nothin but good things to say about the BTLs and most have mixxed opinions about the MTXs.. so im pretty much just looking for input

see now thats why i was having this problem was because i know the 15s will have more cone area, but on the other hand the BTLs will take a lot more power. i just didnt want to buy the BTLs when the MTXs would be just as loud. acutally im going to have three 2400 kinetics in the back with a 300 amp alt. and no im not, im running the MAs at 14v not 16 were they make the most power but it still pushes the 9500s with a conservative gain

if you look in my sig you can see what i already have. now i was either going to add 2 more 9515s and another MA HK4000D OR pick up 2 18in fully loaded BTLs and put one on each of the MA audios. so either way im picking up another amp just dont know which subs to go with. now i need your help bc i dont know what to do. looking at what will be the loudest ...lets just say each in their perfect boxs

boilermaker has a very good point... since its not the same vehicle. but once i have it metered i will post what i hit to keep you guys informed

yeah i wont be dissapointed, it will just push me even more to get it to hit a higher number.. i hope the box and subs turn out to be a good match... my friend had two FI Q's in it with a hifonics(think about 2000rms if i am correct) and was hittin a steady 153-154 with the windows up doors shut at the local comps. i think thats why he said i should be around there since ill have more power to the subs then he did, but well see.

thats what i figured. if it was that easy to hit a 150+ why isnt everybody. the meter all the places out here use is the one that goes by the kickpanel on the passenger side floor...sorry im a noob and dontknow which one it is?

a friend of mine thinks i should easily hit the 150 mark. i dont know thats why im asking but he has been doing this stuff a while now and he said a friend of his with and explorer hit a 154 with the same subs, but he also said he was really pushing them to the limits

well I've had systems for a while now but recently stepped it up a noch and i want to see what you guys think. truck- 2004 GMC Envoy well this is what i have in my truck. (yet to be metered) (2)MTX 9500 15s single 4 ohms (1) MA Audio HK4000D the box is 6.5 cubes with the subs up port back. tuned to 33hz i also have another deep cycle in the back, still waiting for my 300amp alternator. everything is 0 ga. What I'm asking is what do you guys think this is possible of doin on the meter. out of all my systems in the past i never entered any shows or anything. im just trying to see what this could potential do so i dont embarrass myself at my first competition. thanks and ive learned a lot from everyone here
