I don't know where you heard that the CVT's weren't that good, Id have to say they are pretty close to the CVR's, to me anyways.

After looking around a little more I have decided to run the Pioneer Premier DEH-P880PRS. Sounds like its pretty awesome.

Which do you guys think would sound better, The Eclipse CD3100 or the Kenwood Excelon KDC-X891? I can get both for around the same price.

Yeah, with www.woofersect.com and a very good local dealer, this equipment costs nowhere near list price. Still comes up around 5 grand though, I need to do quite a bit of saving.

Anyone? Anything you would personally change? Different batteries, Headunit? Anyone have experience with the Pioneer AVIC-D3, I may just shell out more cash, looks like it has a lot of neat features.

I might have missed something here or there, but that is the main idea, what do you guys think?
