Okay, I've noticed it only does it really bad when my engine is cold and I'm pulling out of my neighborhood before school, but as I accelerated from 1st to 2nd gear in my 2002 VW GTI 1.8T, something happens. Basically the rpms get really high and it doesn't shift, and when it does shift the tires squeal and the car lurches forward. After it does this once the car drives pretty smooth again. It usually only happens when the cars been sitting in the garage overnight or when the engine's cold. Any suggestions? (p.s. the car is automatic.) (p.s. goodyear told me that the aftermarket exhaust has a few leaks in it, would that also result in a loss of power or anything noticeable?)

Lol, it's a little late now. I got the Apexcone 55w 4500k kit. Hope it works out for me (: Next step is aftermarket headlights that look sick, then window tinting, then rims for x-mas :D

Alright, good thing you guys warned me. Sonic Electronix cancelled my order damn fast. Now I got to find a head unit for ~$150. Any suggestions? (that blue one looks sick and it might match the guages in my car)

My dad set up the auction and I told him I was going stock. He doesn't know I'm buying a hu. ;D I'm pretty sure my current setup (Kenwood w/ stock speakers) will be terrible sounding compared to that hu + crescendo CCX65's right?

IMO that thing is mad ugly. I went ahead and bought the other one, the 5200. Hopefully it will work out and it matches my whole dash.

The only audio modifications I'm doing to the car is two Crescendo mids in the front doors and 2 Crescendo tweeters (all CCX65). Will 2v be fine with that?

I'm getting an HID kit off of ddmtuning very soon, and I'm a little lost when it comes to this. What EXACTLY will I need in order to put HID's on my 02 VW GTI? I've already decided on 55W 5000k HID's from ddmtuning. My question is should I get the DDM HID Kit Slim Ballast or the Apexcone Raptor HID Kit and also accessories what would I need to buy (harness, ballast, etc.)

Well I took my sub and box out yesterday to see how driving it would be today. Honestly going without loud bass was harder than driving it a little faster than normal. I think I might stick with it, but my voltage is dropping and headlights are flickering. I'm going to do the Big 3 but I got two questions: 1) Will it completely help the voltage drop enough to wear my headlights don't flicker? 2) Where can I buy ~10ft of 1/0 gauge wire to do the Big 3?

What do you mean they are 'bright'? And That first Hifonics amp, what would you think about that going to the crescendos? And would it be recommended that I get 4 total mids or just the front 2 mids in the doors with the two tweeters?

75lbs sub and a huge ass heavy ass mofkn box is weighing it down. Why wouldn't you recommend them if I'm ONLY running those? I'm not trying to have the loudest sound system in town, just some nice clear loud speakers upgrading from my shitty stock ones.

Are there any cheaper than that? I mean, I would only spend that much if I have to but I wasn't planning on it.

I decided to get rid of my BTL because it's weighing my car down a shit ton, and I'm using the money to get some nice mids and highs. I don't know much about speakers, but I was looking at the Crescendo CCX65 package and it seemed pretty legit. If I get that, what amp should I get to power those (without spending too much money). If you guys don't recommend the Crescendo's, which speakers DO you recommend? Thank you.

I just tested this song out the other day and it's nice, it actually hits pretty low. I'm really just wondering if there are any songs similar to this in the sense that it's kind of made for subwoofers. Also, any other cool demo songs like this would be neat. I really like songs that build up and drop real low, or songs like Comfortably Numb that scare the shit outta you.
