im getting a amp that can put out 1500 rms at 1 ohm and 900 at 2ohm and most likely will do it at 2 ohms. but from what i read it says that bp power can increase how much it can handle. is that true?

im getting a fi ssd 12. the extra options like the bp power and the flat wind coil i sorta of understand from the explanation on the website but i want to know what i should get and not get to achieve the best outcome for a daily used sub.

are hifonics good or bad? ive heard both and i need some reputable opinions.

i got it fixed, bought a 8guage wiring kit and switched it over to that, redid the remote, ground and power and the power has a fuse in it now. cherreh

ill have to find a jumper, but we were going to put a fuse but he didnt have one and we live in hawaii so its pretty hard to get ahold of things unless you order them and doing that still takes a month to get. im going to check all the connections tonight and see if there all good and work on getting a fuse ordered.

im new to car audio, specifically setting up subwoofers and amps. ive had my system, a alpine type r12 and alpine mrpm500, for about two weeks and its been running pretty smooth for about two weeks until yesterday and then the amp quit running. i turned my car off and then back on and the light for the amp came on and then it faded off and it wasnt powering the sub at all. now its not even lighting up when i turn my car on and today i replaced my remote wire and now i dont know what to check. the ground is on metal that has not paint and the power cable is a 4guage kicker cable. what do you guys recommend me doing to try to fix this? i would appreciate any help.

ho j, its noah i think the sauter on the power wire cracked because amp no get power.
