  1. I will tune it tomorrow, also where do I get the CD listed on the JL site? Back to the RCA's. How should they be configured.
  2. I have a digital multi meter, what should I do? It won't be til tomorrow though, gets dark in England early.
  3. The first wiring diagram is how it is wired now. Now how should the RCA's be?
  4. i just had to try that picture out hahah. you should sell that amp and buy a monoblock i have no experience with 4 channels sorry The amp is just temporary it came with the subs and that's what the guy was using to power them. If I can get the subs to sound good, I will be purchasing the correct amp for this setup and use the 4 channel for the door speakers. I just wanted to make sure I am wiring it correctly.
  5. The guy I got the system from says he had it bridged and sounded pretty good. I just can't get it to sound any louder than my 6x9s. So let's say I have it switched to 2 channel, have the subs bridged (amp has diagram for the speaker wires for bridged) Where do I plug the RCA's into? Channel A or B? Or something different?
  6. Hmmm, and the link worked for me, try this one. http://www.shopping.com/Pioneer-GM-X334/info
  7. I have been using google all day, lol. They are SVC 4 ohm. The amp is a Pioneer GMX-334. The subs are Pioneer W1201's. Thanks for the help.
  8. I have a pioneer 4-channel amp. It has a 2-4 channel switchable. The subs are in a box wired individually. I have my rca's running from the sub preout of my alpine deck to the amp...where do I plug them in? Channel A or B? The speaker wires are already wired in bridge mode according to the diagram on the amp. I have tried all different combos for the RCA's and my 6x9's are louder than these subs. Any help would be appreciated. Here is the amp I have. http://reviews.cnet.com/car-amplifie...-30233358.html I read that the amp is capable of 1 ohm. Now can you wire the subs into 2 ohm and bridge both channels of the amp (two individual speakers wires)?
  9. So how do you explain the body panels moving? Do we judge subwoofers on sensitivity? I thought the sensitivity rating means how efficient the subwoofer is?
  10. Looked at a lot of youtube videos of Power Acoustik P3's. They are very capable of getting real loud. They are in my budget for 2 15's. Do you think I will have any problems with the car as far as the battery and alternator not keeping up? Also do you think I have room for 2 15's in the trunk?
  11. Funny thing I was looking at the Dayton's on that site, are they really that loud?
  12. I just got done looking at those, 1 of those will be louder than the L5?
  13. Just like my older post(decided to spend more), will be in a 4 door sunfire. Amp like I said will be matched to the amount of watts the sub/s will need. Amp will be bought later, will be getting the sub/s first and building box, than buying amp.
  14. Looking at 1 sub, maybe 2, or 3 cheapies. Budget $200 and under for cost of sub/s. Enclosure will be sealed unless someone can help on a ported box design. Whole trunk will be used. Amp will be bought later, will be matched for sub/s. Don't really want to go high power for the simple fact that do not want to upgrade alternator and battery. System will be in car for 3 years and then be taken out. Was looking at 12" Kicker L5, any other suggestions. I want to be loud as possible, lol. Thanks guys.
