I have about 30 hours in this box, I could have done it quicker but sanding the inside to have no screw holes or imperfections ending up being a little time consuming than I had hoped, it doesn't help trying to be a perfectionist:)

Just got it up and playing today on a single T1500 @ 2ohms...waiting on the second one to really give it the power it needs.  Got down with authority all the way to 28hz as is.

Kerfed-port enclosure with fully painted interior and acrylic viewing window

Multicolor RGB LED lights

3D raised DC logo with black acrylic overlay

Soon to be powered by 2 Rockford Fosgate T1500's in a Jeep Cherokee

Hell ya voltage drop, two batteries and one alternator isn't nearly enough for two T40001's but I'm saving my pennies up. Here's a link to the build of this console.

Got two of these in my truck, about once a month I have to disconnect power to the red wire and reconnect. Damn things freeze up and sometimes and just read stinger or freeze a couple numbers in place.

Next time try building up with fiberglass from the inside and then light bondo the outside. makes for less sanding. Those are looking sweet though, good job.

should i cover the pod in bondo and sand before covering in vinyl or can i just cover the fiberglass ??? also would the bondo give more strength to the pod ?

Every imperfection shows in vinyl so bondo over the fiberglass and sand smooth. The more solid the better when it comes to pods, thick is good.

[Battery Question]

You really should get a alternator. A second battery will load the alternator even more and may result in even lower voltage overall.
