  1. I already said... I bought an amp... And I had it powering two AQ SDC2.5 15s... This guy saw my ad on craigslist and wants to power his two Dual D10 series subs. I am asking how it should be wired and if it would be possible. I already warned him. And he doesn't know much. I'm just getting more opinions.
  2. So like both positives hooked up to one positive channel, and both negatives booked up to one negative of the same channel?
  3. I already warned him. I told him it is a 1200w amp. And he said that's fine I just want to hear them in the time being because I'm upgrading anyway.
  4. It's like 200wrms or something. I just want to show him them that it works and let him leave. I don't care what he does to em afterward.
  5. And I didn't buy anything. Someone wants to buy my amp for his sub, but he wants to hear it first, so making sure I don't blow anything while he hears it.
  6. Quick question: So I have an AQ1200D amplifier, and two Dual D10 series subs. SVC Is there a way to hook them up without burning them? Shouldn't the clip light on the remote tell me whether or not it is safe? ALSO, how would I do it like which wires go where hooked up to amp Appreciated!
  7. rickyfromthe407 that is exactly what I wanted in a comment. Just how much I could get for it and tips and advice, not bashing me for being inexperienced and trying to sell it for 750...
  8. Okay, I don't need people telling me that I didn't spend what I spent on it, I know how much I spent... Regardless of how I reached the price I did is not relevant. I was just asking a price I could sell it for. Just read the first post. I'm not trying to get bashed for trying to sell it for $750... I actually had someone offer 800 after his car sold, but couldn't get it sold. So I understand I was off in the price. I just want help in how to sell it or a correct price range. At least HelloMyNameIs is attempting to defend me somewhat... Thank you.
  9. I may sound like a complete idiot, and I'm sure I will understand after you tell me. But what does CACO stand for?
  10. Everything is in perfect condition, ports don't even have back flanges on them.
  11. The box is big because I was tired of just doing little silly boxes and like 10s or 12s so I wanted to go big. Took out my whole back seat and put it in there. Wanted ports and 2 15s so that was the easiest way to get it done. And yes I did spend about 300. Or so. The reason for this is it was the first LARGE box that I made so Ibought all expensive materials and such, had to buy new router things for the holes and all. I factored in all of the expenses. My goal isn't to get my money back on anything... I just don't want to give it away. I don't think anyone understands what my goal is here. Just trying to get some input on what I would feel confident in selling it for... Not trying to make a billion bucks or anything. I thought it was a logical way of selling it, but you all have made it very apparent I'm doing everything wrong.
  12. No worries Dan! So about 500 then with box? And it was brand new, I've used it for about like a month of playing time. I didn't turn it up because of the "break in period" thing. So they're still really stiff and what not. But I got them a while ago when AQ didn't reduce their prices, I spent like 270 on amp and 175 on the subs or something like that with the 70 shipping.
  13. I'm not trying to get bashed on here... It was a simple question. You don't need to be doing any caps or laughing at me. I paid 1200 so I thought it would be logical to make it just over half of what I paid for when it is a week used... How much do I sell it for then? if you would have read my first post, that is what I asked. Thank you for input, Dan. And yes, skittles is quite correct. I am around 36-38 if I remember correctly.
  14. I had em up for $750 OBO. I didn't even know there was a section here to sell. And I would not spam, I know how it is on another forum I attend. And finally, yes there are five 6" Precision Ports, 12.9 cubic ft if I remember correctly, with 2 SDC2.5 15s. http://s76.photobucket.com/albums/j40/mousemonster1232/?action=view&current=2011-05-22_160113.jpg
  15. So I've got a set up here... It's 2 AQ SDC2.5 15s 13cuft box 5 6" ports and AQ1200D amp.. I had it on craigslist, and absolutely no one even asks about it, except some old guy which got scared away instantly when he saw it, he was like 65. I was like why do you want these anywa? Not the point. So how do you recommend I sell them? And how much for? Or also a good question would be where? Just stay with craigslist and hope for the best? Thanks.
  16. Okay and that would be strong enough with the wood thinning out near the joint caused by the angle? Thanks for quick response.
  17. I am taking out back seat to put a box in. The only thing is the back is at a slant like 115 degrees so how do I make a box that is strong enough? Like enough structural integrity. Usually a box would join at 90* so this is a little bit different. Any suggestions? Can post pictures of anyone thinks it js necessary.
  18. Yeah I have 53" left to right by 23" tall and 18" of depth. So plenty of space. I would like to use up the whole space. Also the bottom and the back would need to be at an angle of like 25* is there anyway I could create that?
  19. Okay. So maybe I can do 2 12 sdc2.5s with an aq1200d. I just need to get rid of the three subs I have right now. What would be the advantage of the 15" to the 12" asode from 3" if it is the same rms? Just more air displacment?
  20. Okay that sounds alright. I am replacing backseats with a box though so I need two subs. If I were to do 2 sdc2.5 15s would I get raped on the price of an amp to do it or would I be able to get away with the aq1200d?
