  1. I have to say they can think Meade for most of the sales, cause better I seen them in the Hoe I'd never heard of them, since then that's all I hear about. FI seems to be the new RE, and again thanks to Meade. But I hoping to get up there to do a little promoting myself. My box is going to be much like Meade's but bigger for more air pressure and lower lows. 24-26 maybe have another 32 tuned @ 45 Hz for burping (just to get the number). But the daily street beater will be the 24-26 cbft enclosure. 12,000 RMS is going to be nice.

  2. Love the enclosure design dude, always a fan of Kicker and Alpine. But I'm with them, the CVR's should be louder and you have the power. The box is a bit deep for the CVR, but I know you had to do that to get the right cbft. Mine was 28inches deep for my L7's. Which isn't a problem if you don't go way over the RMS, otherwise it's starts hurting them. Where's the pics of the Alpine's. I'd like to see that setup to.

  3. Aight Here's the Run down on Kicker's. Great subwoofer for SPL but the SQ is for shit, the square pulls air into the box compressing the air inside the enclosure sending air faster out of the ports. Bad thing about that is even if it's in the right phase the motor seems to move backwards so the bass line is redesigned in sound. As for price Kicker asks to much for them, great sub but not worth near $300 retail. There was a flaw in last year line (sliver and blue L7's) but were redesigned for this year. Much better built speaker. But still not a SQ sub. Also they need at least 1200w RMS just to move in a box that big, they only need max 6 cubes a piece. And make sure the emclosure is tuned low cause that's all they pick up.

  4. The system I'm running this year is just to demo a small well built setup, just to demo what I can do with lower class setups. To show kids you don't have to put in $2000 to have a SPL setup, mainly all in the enclosure and amp. Me and Meade have talked much about the FI BTL setup and I've been talking to Scott from FI to see what we can all do to promote the soon to be hottest selling SPL sub on the market. I start around fall of next year. Total rebuild cost $13,000. So it takes time. But it's all in who you know. Right now the plans on go, hoping to be above schuele*.

  6. Meade always up to go big bro, but it is all how he makes the enclosure. 160 is most reachable with that much power and surface area. Meade has already said better that he would make a wall for the 4 18" he would be in the low 60's. Keep in mind that amp is well underated and it pure wattage. I think it can definly be done with that equipment!

  7. Just remember you've just to work with your ohms there, 4 Dual 4 ohms 8" subs, you're looking around 0.5 ohms if not lower due to you RE ohms = 0.41 ohms. There's many wiring patterns you can go with. But run somewhat near what it's rated, cause I don't want you to fire a amp. 8" subs are great for the deepest of midbass, and they'll move some air, but don't think you'll be hitting high dB #'s on lower Freq.'s. Your test Freq is going to be very high. 55-60 Hz. What 8's did you have in mind.

  8. I two channel amp can keep your right and left. Why do you think Head Unit's have Front and Rear RCA jacks? It's due to the timing Recorded onto a CD. It's the four focus points on sound. FL,FR,RL,RR. all diffent timings. I record music also, so I know it's process. Cleaner Clear will also be a four  channel amp with a speaker on it's one channel, lower the ohm Less THD%

  9. I'm not talking about right in the center of town guys, like the road on the way out of town, I just want to see the reaction on that, cause we all know not everyone loves bass. I got a story for ya'll, me and 4 of my friends went to Tally, FL (the capital city) it's around 9:00 on a Friday kids are every where. And I just had got the Yukon back from detailing so it's just a chopping. A kid in a two door Black Tahoe with straight pipes pulls up besides me. His 350 with straights wasn't no game, the Yukon's purdy loud but it's clean and deep. So we pull up to this red light I'm in the middle lane, he's just a smiling, Hell I was smiling, he knew I liked those loud ass pipes. Then he turns on some bump (probably two 10's) we all dancing over in the Yukon, so I give him the heads up, and his turns his down, I give him a big smile, and blared Late Night Tip, it scared the shit out of the dude in the Tahoe, I look to my left, the lady (passenger seat) in the turning lane is holding their rear view mirror out the window looks dead at me, I done knocked the damn people rear-view mirror off. Soon as I turned it down, she went to yelling "You Asshole". The Tahoe guy is just laughing his ass off. That's when the light turned green and the drama was over.
