Rendering a vehicle useless for audio reasons is a different bag of congrats. I dont have to look inside someone's vehicle to peep their setup and judge it's uselessness. Paint, rims, tires, etc are all things that you see about a vehicle whether you want to or not. And it's bad enough in one area, you're probably going to keep looking at it to see exactly how bad they did.

Also, an audio setup, regardless of uselessness, is a form of art, so one cant help but appreciate at least the dedication put into it. But if you throw some whack wheel and tire combo, you just look like a tool. Think of it as a first impression.

Anyways, that's my opinion, you dont have to agree with me.

Yeah, being from Texas helps. But I also didnt worry about removing the leafs for one. Also didnt worry about rebuilding the drum brakes. Just picked a nice looking junk yard rear end that still had the drums sealed and took my time disassembling so I'd know what to expect back home. Didnt even take out the junkyard fluid until the next day or two.

alignment was not an issue. I think you can do this. Just getting the u-bolts off is the worse part.

6 of the 8 ubolts I snapped off just trying to break them free...

good thing I bought new longer ones, but they are a tad wider.

I was able to pull a used rear end out of a yard truck, pull my old one out from under by 'burb, get the new-to-me rear end under it, bleed my brakes, and drive it in less than 12 hours, it's easy.

What exactly are you having issues with?
