  1. Yeah, if i were driving it as my daily, i would still want ac and power steering. But it would be funny to take your road test in this car, both 18's ponding, lol

LOL I think if he puts 2 SMD 18"s in there, they will move enough air in the car to keep the driver cool in the summer... until he comes to a stop light and has to turn it down LMAO  jk

  2. bc it not mdf lol it is osb plywoodsorry 2 pop ur bubble bro u should have got 5/8 or 3/4 mdf it will be way better u dont want 2 go cheap in this game :drinks::good:

thanks when i go to home depot I was like Ill be damned they were right... :ehh: well it cost me an extra $30 but to not have it sound like shit (my prefab gets loud but not deep) is priceless! and i got lucky and didnt have to pay for any of the cuts

yep they did that to me too. made em waste 3 sheets before they learned to cut. funny shit haha.

I was like WTH when the first guy got done and was like your going to need another sheet... im like look at these cuts they are all slanty and warpped uhhh get someone who knows what they are doing...

i actually was going to get mad but Ive read alot on this fourm and I did grab the wrong one... :ehh: So I went back this morn... it was funny cuz Ol guy cuttin the wood ended up destroying a 30 dollar sheet of 3/4" MDF cuz all his cuts were off by ALOT! and i was like fudge that im paying for it so cut it right LOL so they called in the young guy who worked in the department he cut every thing correct and let me keep the smaller Pieces of scrap from the other first sheet! :ehh: Im learning! thank you splzx3 and anubis :drinks:

mocking everything up that night but it was to late to get it started and every thing on the right side will be (was removed) I thought i had 50" of width in trunk space but dang shock towers i had to take the box down to 36" in width

  6. well first my names Justin And Ive been Installing systems in cars since I had my first car (Ironically it was an 86 CRX LOL) well you know how you can do something for so long and truly know nothing about it? That was me until My local DJ buddy (DJsn1 from Sacramentos KBMB 103.5 the bomb) Introduced me to Steve Meades You tube channel. After Watching all the build videos for the "HOE" i was inspired Ive never seen sound done like this before... Was so used to "ghetto blaster" ie where you hear more trunk metal rattling than actual bass. (the shop that built my box for my 4 door Civic said that was an option i was like wtf) So a Little while later My DJ Buddy arranged for me to get a demo From Meade in chicken's "Hooptie" then I had the honor to demo my civic's system for for meade I felt like such a :noob: but he said it sounded good but the box :bull: and i agreed NO more prefab boxes for me LOLz so since that day I spent a month reading all the builds on this site :good: researching learning and planing so i finally got the cash to start my build so let me get on with it:

Heres the ride: my 89 Honda Civic hatch back I call her Blu Ninja (the final paint job is going to be a low gloss black)

LOL all those wires have been redone like a million times... I have to re do them yet again cuz im going to 0/1 gauge from the front to the back and the amps have been moved to the back of the seats... but they are going to move yet again when my 3 new amps get here

  7. I had the the same thoughts too but this video show step by step and just quashed all my questions. and as to what EclipseChris was saying the guy in the video did exactly what you did on your focus. He added the new Positive terminal to the factory terminal on the scion xb (he shows it at the end)
