  2. i like how you caps it, haha yea that im still kinda drunk lol. ill try to post some pics later. i wanted to have the subs faced forward into the car with the box being sealed off from the trunk kind like a wall style but didtn want to take the chance of the setup not sounding good. do it !! myloudest in my impala as been 2 12s sub up port back, on 2600rms... imma seal it off !! and it should stop that nasty trunk rattle we got !! another option for you is to port on the rear deck, but imma seal off mine soon. problem is its kinda to late the box was built into the car only way that box is coming out is if i brake it. and i dont know these subs are funny, they dont hit that hard when i have the windows up. but when the windows and the sunroof open all hell beaks out.

  4. you cant beat trunk rattle. i have dynamat xtreme, helps but ..... and no i dont have build log i had my go to audio guys build my box after i failed lol. they built me a 6th order bandpass first, it sounded good but wasnt moving any air so they build a ported box tuned to 32 hz

  6. thanks for the pos feedback. me and my buddy built a box for 2 btl 12 but the box wont fit tryed everything, it would have fit if it was built in the car, but o well im letting the pros build me a 6th order bandpass tunneled so yea kind of excited. heres some pics of the finish box that didnt fit. it stone texture if u cant tell....

  9. make sure its the right fuse powering it, most head units require a 20 amp fuse. some dick head put a 10 in mines and it keep blowing
  10. w wow just got home from work and took a look at the tensil on both sides and it looks like its clearing up. wtf, had sub next to open widow bout 59 degrees no rain lol
  11. thanks for all the help guys, the sub sounds good so im not really worried. when i turn my sub up high with certain songs it sound like the cone is slapping the magnet kind of like a hiccup sound but i think thats another problem.
  12. pulled out my 6 month old fi btl to put new one in to break it in. theres some brown stuff on sub anyone know what it is and if its a problem
