  1. Well the HC2000 is equal to the D2700 in size, but the smaller D6500 in power. So, if you are looking for a battery to fit the same physical dimensions, then the D2700 is the one you want. I was looking to about the same power. A few guys on these forums recommended i get a HC2000 for my system of 1500rms. The battery will be going in the trunk of my car, so physical size is not an issue. I am looking to get about the same power if not more. Looking for the bargain buy between the 250$ Kinetik HC2000 or one of your batteries which would be equal to that. I will check your price list after this post since its on the first page, if you could let me know what would have about the same power as the HC2000 thatd be great. I am just looking to get the best bang for my buck! I appreciate the reply! If your prices are better for the battery I need compared to the price of the kinetik i would like to get the ball rolling so I can pay you through paypal within the next couple of days! THanks again!
  2. Hey there - Which of your batteries would be equal to the HC2000 from Kinetik? I posted a forum looking for a Kinetik HC2000 but then I came across this and I would think your prices are going to be GREAT this holiday season! THANKS! WILL BE PUTTING YOUR BANNER IN MY SIG. RIGHT AFTER THIS POST!
  3. get them from online, if you can try, get one from the for sale section on here. I picked up the Kinetik HC2000 today - I was planning to install it today but I am not sure whether I replace my starting battery with this one or if I am suppose to run them together with 1/0 and put this Kinetik in the back of my car. What do you guys think I should do? Thanks! May wanna watch so you don't double post sometimes. Just saying. I think the better thing to do would be do big three to your stock battery, let it run your car electronics, and run a wire back to the battery in the trunk, perhaps if they have a spare wheel well? I've just seen that way work better with most builds. Yes I apologize for the double post - I guess I clicked a few too many times. I corrected it! But ok I will do what you said. Ill need to buy some new terminals if I want to run a 1/0ga to this (hc2000) in the back. I guess that sounds better anyways to have two batteries over 1. I appreciate the replies guys! Will have this fully installed by xmas! Will be a good present to myself.

  5. for 1500rms he will be absolutely fine with a battery. no need for an alternator. As well as the big 3 If you already said you did it, my bad. I did plan on doing the big 3 for sure. But that is great news. I appreciate immensely the amount of replies I received so quickly. Thanks guys! I will look into a battery. What would be some batteries you guys recommend and where should I get them? Online or at a local audio shop. I appreciate it a lot guys! a kinetik 1400 or 2000 should do you fine Thanks! Ill pick up the 2000 just to be safe! Cant hurt to have the extra power. Id assume to just run that to the back of the car if all possible so I have the shortest power wire to my amp?

  7. I am going to be installing FOUR 10" Memphis M3 subs in my car. They are rated at 400rms/800watts a piece. Most know these are pretty decent subs so I decided to go with them. I have a 1995 Honda Civic EX 2 Dr so it will be a very tight fit. I bought a Soundstream EGA1700D amp which is 1700watts and about 1500rms CLASS D Mono block. Its a great amp and extremely efficient. So my question comes down to the alternators. I dont see myself being able to run this setup off of a stock alternator with a battery ( please correct me if i am wrong since it would be 3x cheaper ) But I am not sure as to what size alt to get. Should I go with the 200amp from Excessive Amperage and just pick up a Optima Yellow Top? It confused me because when I saw meade's civic he had about 4x the power I will have in mine but yet he only had a 200 amp alt. I assume he had quite a few batteries. But I wonder if there is a easier way than what I am thinking. I am new to all this stuff so if I have the wrong opinion please correct me so I don't make a $500 mistake! I appreciate all answers and replies. Thanks Guys!
