  1. tyty ill post up pics of the box build...it will be my first box so it should be interesting lol
  2. TY! k so lets say i have a 2 ohm sub....do i wire it at 2 ohms or can i go to 1?... Ok I will bite, it depends on amp, and several other factors, can you wire it to 1 ohm, if you have a dual 2 ohm sub you can. Now would you want to depends on what you are connecting it to and power ratings of the sub. i was going to order 2 2ohm SA15's and get a RFt1500...the subs are rated for 600 each so 1200 rms total do you think the t1500 will push them enough or will i have to go with maybe a 2k rms amp?
  3. TY! k so lets say i have a 2 ohm sub....do i wire it at 2 ohms or can i go to 1?...

  6. thanks alot guys, i didnt even think about the vehicle or any of that stuff. here's the thing. my neighbor does bass comps so he says, and he swears! by sealed boxes... he says that you can get good deep bass from a sealed just like a ported if you know what youre doing and if you take the time to measure the car out and build the box perfectly. is this guy a bullshit artist?
  7. i honestly cannot decide if i want a ported or a sealed box! can some help me here.
  8. thanks for the info guys, does any1 know when the SA15's are coming out? and what they might cost?
  9. i have a RF t1k right now...which should be fine because the site says they are only 250wts rms....i kinda dont understand why its only 250 tho.
  10. please do, see i'd think that the fi's would be better just because they have more cone area....but let me know why the sa's are better. thank you.
  11. any1 know if the FIx series are even worth it? or should i just go with 2 SA12's?
  12. Wwhat if i have a sealed box? im guessing its just better to face them to the trunk right? I put mine forward and couldn't be happier. No trunk rattle. A lot more impact. http://m.youtube.com/profile?gl=CA&client=mv-google&hl=en&user=StreamlineAudioVanc hmm thanks for the info man i appreciate it, im trying to decide between a ported box and a sealed one....im thinking sealed tho because if youre saying it would have a good amount of impact than its like having the best of both worlds if i just flipped it around....
  13. Wwhat if i have a sealed box? im guessing its just better to face them to the trunk right?
  14. i have a 4 door sedan and was wondering if facing the sub to front of the car would make it sound at all better....
  15. well i have an 08 tsx, the trunk it pretty big for a little car like that so i should have some room to work with, i wanted 2 SA12's....
  16. thanks for the info man, but what would you suggest for 2 SA12's on a fosgate t1k <-- ( temp. amp )
  17. wow finally i havent been able to find out what that was either! and thanks for the info
  18. just wanted some info on this topic, sealed vs ported. i would like to know which is " better " for the sub which is louder and which sounds better. ty
  19. kk tyty i've just always had ppl tell me that kicker was best because it was square, but now that i finally took the time to do some research i've learned thats not the case, i have a rockford t1000 would that push the SA12 enough?
  20. i have a 15'' kciker l7 and im not to happy with it. i was wondering if its worth selling to get something smaller like a sundown audio SA12....i also have a rockford t1000bd pushing the kicker
