  2. also in the back of the port it is a 90 degree angle on both sides i dont know how long those piece are though its like a L on both sides of the port , can that affect my tuning
  3. my last box my subs were facing the hatch, now i have them facing up that cant change the sound to much can it? it should still sound deep if it is tuned low
  4. cant be 28HZ cause my last box was 28HZ and it peaked off to fast. so thats why i got this box built and it just doesnt sound deep at all it just hard and loud
  5. so i went to my local audio shop and asked him to build me a box for my 2 FI BTL N2 18s i asked him to tune the box the 34HZ . he saids ok, i told him multiple times to tune the box to 34HZ he said that i was worrying to much. when i go to pick it up i asked him what the box is tuned to he goes oh i dont know let me ask my employee he asks him his employee says 63HZ i asked him why would you tune it to 63HZ. the employee said my boss didn't tell me what to tune it to so i figure 63HZ would be ok, you can still hear the lows so today i finally got to hear my box cause i couldnt listen to it last night it was to late, i cant tell the difference between a 50HZ and 34HZ bass note they sound almost exactly the same i am very disappointed with my installer the bass hits hard but i lost all my lows. Can someone tell me what my box is tuned to and how many cubic feet the box is. also i asked him to make a bigger port then my last box cause it was to small it was only 157IN My new box is now 135 so he went smaller he use the exact dimensions of my last box but put the subs up and port back and in the center of the box. Here are the Dimensions W 47IN H 24.5 D 29IN Port dimensions W 6IN H 22.5IN Depth 22.5IN port is in center of box Sub displacement .16 per sub
  6. yea i know i didnt build my box my local audio shop did they told me they tuned it to 36 HZ i have 2 Fi btl N2 18s on 2 Hifonics 2400 BRZ Fi recomends 12-16 of port area per cubic foot He only did 9.8
  7. The box is exactly 16 cubic foot after all displacements and the port is 22.5in tall, 7in wide, 22.30in deep it is a slot port. Thanks
  8. 12.6 volts i have the big 3 upgrade, pos to pos and neg to neg for batterys all in 0 gauge
  9. http://www.powerstream.com/Wire_Size.htm Maximum amps for power transmission 1/0 150
  10. 1 duralast gold 1000 CA 750CCA and 90 AH under the hood and 2 marine/generator batterys they normally used for campers they weigh 110 pounds each 1550 CA or CCA i dont remember and 180 amp hours each. what i wanna know is if 0 gauge wire can only allow 150 amps through it am i only get 150 amps out of my 270 amp alternator, that if i add another run will i get the full 270 amps?
  11. i have 6300 RMS going to 2 18s, i have a DC 270 amp alternator, all 1/0 gauge wiring, 3 battery connected in parallel. if i add another run of 1/0 will it fix my voltage drop. it drops from 15.1 to 12.4-13 volts,
