hey guys, in my truck i have my current stinger 4AWG wire kit, for my Alpine MRP-M1000.. but i also bought a tsunami 0AWG kit that i havent installed, but i was wondering if running my 0awg power wire and ground instead of my 4awg would make that big of a difference for my new Hifonics BRZ2400.1D amp.. cause i can't fit my 0AWG through the grommet im using with my 4awg and i dont wana be cutting anything lol.. ALSO! if i could have some input, im selling my 2 15" RE SX subs and buying 2 more Kicker CVR 12's ( that'll leave me with 4 kickers ) on a Hifonics BRZ2400 amp.. ive had the RE's for like 3 months.. and haven't had the time or energy to get around to building a box. i attempted to build a box and failed, closest audio shop wants 600$ to build a box for me and install. so, i was thinking of using 4 of the kicker CVR 12's in factory ported kicker boxes ( cause i already have a pair) in place of my backseat in my dodge ram. basically im asking how do you think 4 12" CVRs on 1800RMS will sound compared to 2 15" RE sx's on 1800rms lol i wanna know if im making a good or bad decision.

shit for real? yea i have 2 15's right now. god damn lol, i need an amp that does 1800+Rms@ 2 ohm from audio savings and this seems best bet. but im not gonna put them at 2 ohms, they wont take 3600rms lol

quick question. can i wire my ( i think ) duel 2 ohm RE SX 15's to a 4 ohm load? if i can this will make my amp purchase a little easier.

Get a nice cheap pioneer H/U I hear nothing but good things. A 8awg wire kit handled my alpine 500 watt no problem. And keep the 12" the sundown are great but I think the 12 would just be better.

could you explain why they wouldn't recieve full 1000watts each? cause i bought one alpine mrp-m1000 already for only 180$ so doing this would be by far the cheapest route..

well i heard .5 ohm is alot harder on your electrical, i'll be running an extra battery with the big 3 so i dont know how well that'll hold it lol

well im thinking of just buying another Alpine mrp-m1000? i already bought one like brand new condition for only 180$ off a guy, and it puts 1000rms@2 ohms, maybe buy another one of those and that should run them fine righT?

i need an amp that does 2000RMS+ at 2 ohms for under 400$ lol i know it's probably a little hard.. but i have D2 ohm subs, and i dont have the electrical for .5 ohms.. but anyways the only amp on audiosavings that "does" the power i need is the Power Acoustic STAX 5500.1D.. and i hear good and bad things about this amp, its to power my 2 15" RE SX subs.. please help guys, or point me into other sites for help, woofersetc , sonicelectronix or onlinecarstereo any good? i haven't shopped online before and i dont trust them so i need some help lol

only amp that i can think of that does that in that power range is the audiopipe 3000. but you CAN get 2 smaller amplifiers and strap them together, but you better read on how to do that first. where can i find an audiopipe amp? ive heard lots about them but haven't seen one

yeah i understand, but im going to sound like an idiot.. and How exactly do you find out if the are D2 or D4? other then the website, i bought them used.. so i physically have them beside me and thats all i can use to find out You can check it with a DMM if you have one Or it sometimes says it somewhere on the sub i put my DMM on ohm's and put the positive to positive etc. and it read 15.6 ish and my other sub read 14.7 what does that mean lol
