  1. its loud...very loud.. i just want more speakers....im thinking maybe 5kwatts either 2 18's or maybe 4 15's if you want a blowthrough with 2 18s or 4 15's you will have to get very creative with how you build your box because your still limited with the height of the back wall of your bed i think i was pretty creative with the box i have now it about 3cubes sealed behind the seat...ive never heard of anyone fitting a kicker L7 15 in a single cab truck and still being able to use all the seats....im just skeptical about the sound ill get yeah thats pretty crazy how you did that..but u shouldnt be skeptical i mean with a blowthrough it gives you the ability of making a much bigger box and porting it..its almost like having a really big trunk in a car. check out this vid.

  3. this is not true at all without a blowthough you are very limited on space..before i did mine the biggest box i could fit behind my seat was 1.3 cubes and i couldnt port it. now that i have a blow through my box is 2.5 cubes @32 hertz and i get way! louder with the same power
  4. This is the box from the outside...to protect it from the rain i bought some herculiner bed liner kit for around 80 bucks and bedlined my whole truck first then the box. Make sure u make the box fit snug under the railing of the bed it will prevent water from leaking in and you can seal it from the inside out....i had to force my box in by kicking it from the back haha This is how it looks like from the inside..the box is 15 inches deep but i recessed the face 2.75 inchs so that i can seal the box from the inside with silicone. the port tuned to 32 hertz i was short on cash so to seal the bed to the cab i bought some marine vinyl and pinch weld then i used some abs cement and put a thick coaton it,but i suggest buying something called Accordion boot.it is made specifically for this type of thing just google "accordion boot" and there is website that sells it by the foot.
  5. Once u do a blowthrough ull be very happy its pretty simple...i just finished up my biuld a couple weeks ago on my 1993 mitsubishi mighty max i can take some pics and post em if ud like
  6. ok thats good to hear because i really love the dc subs and i wanted to buy a pair but i didnt know if it would be worth it and i have goten offered $250 for my amp wich is double what i paid for it. Do u have any suggestions on an amp in the 250-300 dollar price range?
