    i would be interested possibly but what is condition of batt? (voltage etc,) and for me im looking at 163 shipped directly from amazon sold by amazon new and in the past i have had great customer service from them. If anyone can do 140 shipped i would consider the kinetik. Idk if i can ever find one that cheap or if id be ripping you off but if im only paying 15 bucks more to get a new one, why not? and in addition, i think im more interested in the xs D5100 at this point. but still open to other offers with kinetik

    That's cool, just thought I'd offer. The black Kinetik tray is $40 extra when you buy new. And mine rest at 13.1 and is still like new. Actually I better just keep it!

    Are the Kinetiks only good secondary battery? Cause a few people only call them secondaries, but idk if i believe them completely. Sorry off topic

    No they are plenty good for starting batts, as long as it's the HC1200 or better

    what do you recommend? most bang for my buck? yes I got the sub for a really good price ...

    I'd prolly go ahead and get a bigger mono-block if it were me. Something at least 2K.

    Yeah I just caught that.

    The sub is a single 3ohm voice coil sub, that's why you were told to look for an amp that does 1000@ 4ohms.

    IMO, if you just want to run just one, find ya a nice 2ch amp and bridge it.

    I will still sell you my amp, but honestly, it's probably not the best one for ya.

    It is rated 600 @4 ohm, 1000 @2 ohm.

    ****If you have only one JL sub, and it's a d3 ohm, how are you planning on running @4ohm?

    If that's rt, and you have one d3ohm sub, then you can run at 1.5 ohms or 6 ohms.

    My amp would be PERFECT @1.5 ohms, and will do more than rated 100% GUARANTEED!!!

    If it's a d1.5ohm sub, then you can wire to .75ohm or 3 ohm. Any amp that is 1ohm stable would then be what you wanted.

    Actually that should open the door for you to a lot of options...

    Hey peeps, I am looking for a couple of DC Audio emblems for my car.

    I need one for the dash, to go above the Kicker emblem after I move it down a little. 3" Long at the most.

    And another for the hatch, to replace the skull and bones. (It will just be moved) This one can be bigger, maybe 5 - 7 inches

    I don't know that I can find any, but it's worth looking for. If not I'll just have them made, but I'm sure that will NOT be cheap! I'm not sure if they will come loose from the dust caps, but the raised chrome DC logo on some of the subs would be about perfect. Anyway thanks for your time! :drinks:

    Okay thanks man. Yeah, I didn't think it would make that much difference since each sub only takes up .18ft3 of displacement. I'll probably just not mess with inverting them

    But yeah I'm not building another box, I'm just re-building the one I just built a few months back. Should be perfect when finished, and adding the new baffle will only raise my tuning to 34hz, with each sub seeing 2.5ft^3

    I just don't see a reason for wasting this box when it does so well. Plus the less time and money I have to spend on the box, the more I'll have to spend on my door panels, dash, and interior color change, which is all now underway. Stage 3 coming soon!
